Long time overdue, but the mass debate got me thinking...isn't it a bit like saying 'Which weighs more, a kg of feathers or a kg of lead?' [/randomquestionrevival] XD Erm...I'm pretty sure I heard Mario was 30, but I wouldn't know...meh...

That wasn't the debate. Rather, it should've been the difference between mass and weight, because Fifth asked for us to measure mass, but the only way to measure anything pretty much is to use the platforms with the rope and pulleys. Since that device obviously depends on gravity, and mass does not, it measures weight. What he should have said was what weighs more, instead of what has more mass. Rather, it's an old subject. Not much else to say about it any longer. Mario isn't 30 .

But the gravity is a CONSTANT! The reletive weights are at a CONSTANT relation to the reletive masses! I mean, take a bathroom scale, for example. That measures weight. It measures the force pushed against its springs. In an environment with lower gravity (say, the top of a mountain,) it'd measure less weight from the same mass. With the two platforms, a mass is measured against another mass, and not a resistance to a force. This will always give the same reltive reading (to a point), provided that gravity is present. This is also the means that most metric scales (which measure in grams(which is a unit of MASS)) use. Of course, without gravity, yes: the mass would exert no force, unless it were moved by some other means (which COULD be measured, but wouldn't give very exact results.) ...So what's my point? You can find mass by using weight! C'mon, how ELSE are you supposed to find it? ...OI... Sorry to go on about that, but I just had to say SOMEthing! My question was perfectly sound! ........ As for your question, I still don't have an answer.

Hahaha!! I remember that one! It's when you talk to the Loggo toilet guy in Grunty's Industries. Kazooie says something about calling a plumber, but Loggo says that Mario's doesn't do that kind of stuff anymore.
