People, may I introduce you to puzzle/adventure game. Secret of the Puzzle has been born! Well It's been born on the Nov. 15th 2006 >_>. But now, why not share it here! Secret of the Puzzle is based on Startropics and Shivers. What it's about is world became in peril, as darknesses has spread the entire planet, to have demons roam in darkness as the king of demons named Xiao-Khan declares the planet his home. That's what it is about. Can't give you more details, but I have the full version for a free download for you people. Several has played, liked it, and one has conquered! Although there were bugs in the game, but one manage to beat it. Link: savefile.com/files/257220 This will link you to the download. Have fun. =) Secret of the Puzzle 2 - Demons of Innocence is a response to the original part 1 game, but with many features! This will be based on Castlevania and Legend of Zelda. But so far, working on the demo for the demo release. Teh Yoshi is currently my grammar assistance to help me out with messages for each character. But, I'm in need of a help with a timer system. If you people have an RPGMaker experience of timer operation, contact me. Or else, what I add in my game called 'life force', which drains your health very slowly and need to seek Nemesis (boss) to defeat him and end the life force effect. Well, as nice as it sounds, I can't seem to play it. It keeps on minimizing itself whenever I try to run it, so do you think you can release a version that runs in a window? Also, do you think you can by any chance compress the sound resources? Does RPGMaker have support for playing compressed sounds/music? The audio resources take up the vast majority of the game's size, by far.

Well, as far as it goes, when you appear in full screen mode, hold Alt+Enter for window mode. As well, in other responses, nope, the audio only comes in .mid, and sounds only comes in on .wav, which it's abit larger than Midi files. I can't compress them, sorry. The files that RPGMaker support is built-in.
UPDATE: Releasing the demo in few mins, read the next post.

Secret of the Puzzle 2: Demons of Innocence Demo is now born! Who's responsible? Find out! Come get the demo now! UPDATE: Certain people have made some confusion of downloading my game, could not get it to work. There's a reason why: Not accessible for Mac users, sorry. Also, forgot to remind you this game is rated PG-13 for mild language, not adult, mild, for which it means low profile bad words. This means it does not have to do with mating, a term for 'scat', nor use of threatening others. If you're still not comfortable of this, I suggest you not play it. UPDATE: The Sub-Level description has been released! What's a sub-level? A sub-level is more of a bonus level that unlocks a hidden story. You must stay alive in order to pass that level, that way, you will not re-enter that level ever again. For example: when you complete the first level, the story will take place at the unforseen event, where it is an off-site level. The levels of low ground is a chain, which means the sub-level is not part of a chain, you will continue the game regularly. Here is the sub-level description. Apocalypse Space Alpha v209 The ship... guards the planet earth around the orbit by Alpha Guards. Without protections, any life forms may invade, to inhabit, destroy, or take memory, which result dust, and cosmo. Captain Baron, Feudal, Poseidon, and Edgar are the high class units that are on board of Ship Alpha. Suddenly, monsters appear and attacked the private sector, the captain maybe in trouble, or the whole ship itself. What will happen next?

This just in. I have added a new map after you finish the sub-level, you will appear outside of the Abanadoned Castle of Dracula, where you will stumble to your first eye sights on a strange demonic temple. I call it "The Temple of Nemesis." Here's a description about it:
Temple of Nemesis
The Temple of Nemesis belongs to a royal family of demons that conquers each land and civilization. Statues are among the active nemesis locks the portal that leads to a forbidden realm known as Shadowrealm. When a nemesis dies, the statue crumbles, in which the key to open the realm, but god forbids the escape of a darkness fiends, to threaten the entire world. Other than that, the Temple of Nemesis was built to send the evil minions to the forbidden realm of darkness, to no longer cause chaos and threaten to destroy mankind.
UPDATE: Few changes has been made to my full version game for the following: +"Lantern" has been moved to the second map. +Flashlight effect has gained 15%, from 170% to 185%. +Instead of broken statues, only full statues will only heal you completely once, but infinite game saving.
UPDATE: The following bug fixes has been made to my game from last release of demo unaware: +Duplicate event of obtaining item(Fairy Helper) has been fixed, thanx to Fifth. +The door leaving from the mini boss is unaccessable(working on), thanx for pointing that out, Fifth.
UPDATE: There has been new technical made of changes to my game for the following: +Leaving miniboss room on the right has been fixed. Thank you Fifth. +Character grammar messages has begun working in progress, thanx for the helping hand, Teh Yoshi.
UPDATE: Momentarily, the available screenshots will be posted at the Screenshot section here only, also the following tweaks made changes from my game: +Erase character avatar was forgotten to be added after ending the character chat. +All grammars was fixed from each map sections, thank you for your help, John.
As well, coming soon is the new map project, so stay tuned!

NEWS: The new project map is now being worked on, follow by the info, provided by the information. Here's what it is about: Behemoth Death Valley The valley that is recently abandoned. What's left of it is nothing but monsters that lives in a barren territory. It is unstable, filled with earthquakes, anytime it can collapses. Like a volcano, earthquakes never stops. But if the creation of the earth has made its shape of a valley, then it's possible. The nemesis is anywhere in a huge unstable valley, all I can say this, I'm getting close to Isaacu. UPDATE: The following tweaks to the game has made changes: +The Save Statue will now have 2 options: Full Heal (Once), and Save. UPDATE: I am pleased to show you an add-on to my game to make it more interesting for boss battle: +Health bars for each bosses has been added! Now you will know how much health bosses have left. Here's a sample: I'm giving credits for Teh Yoshi to help me with skull icon color decision, plus the health bar color.

Not in a bad way or anything. But nemesis was on a game called Dungeon explorer. Those slimes are also on the game ''Dungeon Explorer''. Shoulden't you give credit?

Those slimes are sprites from a free source I believe, so there is no need for credit. Also the name "nemesis" can't be property of anything as it's a word, unless the "Temple of Nemesis" and everything about it was copied from "Dungeon Explorer" credit is not really needed.

Ok, first things first. Shame, to answer what you said, slimes are sprites that are supported originally by RPGmaker2k3, i did not make it, and second, Nemesis is the name of my idea I came up, not from Dungeon Explorer that I heard of. No credits is needed. And third, oh boy John, you're gonna have a blast!

Long time no see people! Sorry to bump this (please don't use machetes!), just a quick reminder about my game developement that I've been so busy lately, working so hard to it, hardly enough time for other activites. This Secret of the Puzzle II will set sail this December! I have made my promise that I will release it this year. Sadly, the demon mysteriously vanished. Ah well, it happens. I've had help put this game together, all thanx to GamingW community with helpful tutors. Now, there are new features I will include in this game. Basically, I have downloaded the chipset of Zelda: Link to the past. But however, it doesn't mean I 'will' use link in the game, you will still be a main character name Denovan. Again, this game will be launched in December! But not sure which date will be released. However, this game will be tested first before being created. I promise you this won't take long. But however, there are few things I have failed to put in my game as the following: -HP display ingame (requires a good variable knowledge) -ABS = Action battle System -Introduction Those are the things I failed. Now, for the future upcoming on Secret of the Puzzle III, i have decided a good title for it, and plus, new ideas for it as the following: -Name Entry -ABS -New Panorama backgrounds -New picture displays basically those are the future ideas on my final project. Currently I have John (teh Yoshi) assisting me with grammar messages. Until then, keep the swords spinning. -End P.S.
