Recently I came across a store here, right in my own isolated town, that sells hundreds of Playstation games. Only problem: I lack a PS1. But that can be fixed in a week.
Since I know most of you have owned a PS1 at one point in time, what are some must-haves I should search for? These games are incredibly cheap, going for 1$ a game, so don't feel scared to post more than one game.

I'm sure you've heard this already, but I just started getting into the Playstation myself, playing games I missed out during childhood.
I haven't played many games yet, but I do recommend Spyro 1, 2 (and maybe 3, but I'll need to get to that one myself), Chocobo's Dungeon 2, Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. If you like to cry in agony, go ahead and slam the controller to your face in the first Crash Bandicoot. Looks like I still need to finish Croc, though.
Oh yeah, if you like throwing up, you should try Omega Boost.
TEHDIT: Could be just me, but I think this thread would better belong in the General Gaming Section.

Legend of Mana. It's an awesome game for the PS1. Epic. There are moments in there when characters speak stuff that's really profound.
Oh, did I mention you should get Legend of Mana?

People already said Spyro, Croc, and Silent Hill, but I back those recommendations.
I recommend Crash Bandicoot 2 and Warped - didn't like the first one too much, but you just might. So I wouldn't quite cross that off your list. The Legend of Dragoon was also good. I think anything else I can think of suggesting has already been suggested. Aw.

•Chrono Trigger was a good one, if it's like the ones for the SNES, then yeah, it's good.
•Chrono Cross while you're at that.
•Tekken 3 was the one I most favorited out of the Tekkens for PS1
•Tactics Ogre if you're into tactical games.
•Wild Arms... I actually really liked the first one.
And... yeah, I don't want to say anything that anyone else said
