Oh G4TechTV they had coverage of E3, its games, and all the conference things, it looked so cool! I sat like an inch away from the tv in excitement, theres gonna be so much mayhem going through my mind when all those games come out. Basically, if its first party Nintendo, I'll buy it.

Ch-chu!!! Paper Mario 2! Yeeee! Time for a random list of a bunch of things I want to say that have otherwise no connection! - That Koopa's name is "Koops". - That bird-guard thing reminds me of one of Captain Syrup's henchmen. - Boxes open in a really cool manner (they turn themselves inside out.) - POW blocks rock. I won't tell you why. - Those mice also appeared in Paper Mario, as "nomadimice". - I can't say for sure, but it looks (in one screenshot) like you get a Yoshi as a partner.
...ahh... Paper Mario 2...
But what I'm really looking foward to is the DS. Hoo, man... Super Mario 64x4... Mario Kart... Metroid... and all over wireless communication! ... Ah, kweh.
Aaaannd... I'm sure you've got enough 'oohs' and 'aahs' over Zelda that I don't need to say any more.
...Oh, yeah! Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat is really strange but really fun! ...and Pikmin 2! Pit Pikmin armies against each other!
Go Nintendo!

I was thinkin'...the DS...is it going to take place of the Gameboy? Or is it just another handheld? Because I was recently going to buy a GBSP, but if they're gonna focus more on the DS....well, I'd rather have my money well spent. n_n*

I was thinkin'...the DS...is it going to take place of the Gameboy? Or is it just another handheld? Because I was recently going to buy a GBSP, but if they're gonna focus more on the DS....well, I'd rather have my money well spent. n_n* A supplement to their Gameboy. Nintendo said something to that effect about another system. Was it the Gameboy SP? It's essentially the same as a Gameboy advance, but with a different shape. But the DS, is a real change. (Check the specs, this is Nintendo's own Gameboy Advance killer (it's okay to kill your own stuff, as long as it's done by more of your stuff) to keep Gameboy looking good against the competition, such as Sony PSP) If you need a Gameboy now, shouold you wait? If you don't need it now, then you might as well get the latest and greatest since you know about it. It is compatible with the rest of the Gameboy library, isn't it? I'm pretty sure that many developers will eventual turn to DS games only (but there's still that large installed base of Gameboy and Gameboy Advance systems to consider, but it won't last forever). Yep, Advance's days are numbered. I don't know about compatibility with older non-advance games though. Well, you've got your research and mind probing to do. Sorry for going off on another tangent (I've edited this section.). Now, considering Paper Mario 2, it appears they've taken to incorporating more of the paper feel into other elements of the game (such as scenery). I really liked how they made the storybook visuals of Yoshi's Island (innovative), it was amusing in Yoshi's Story (a different material — plastic — cool), and paper was interesting to utilize in Paper Mario, but one must wonder how Mario got so thin. For YI, it was just the look of the game, for YS, it had something to do with the story, but for Paper Mario, it's not explained — somehow, the Mushroom kingdom's inhabitants have become 2 dimentional in form. Anyway, I've gone off on enough of a tangent. What else was I going to comment on? Oh, yes. What happened to Kooper? Goombario? Sushie? Bombette? Bow? Watt? (Did I forget anyone?) Oh, yes, Parakarry (I forgot how to speel). Oh well. Enjoy this "wonderful" animation of Yoshi partaking of a Shy Guy meal.

Ooh... I'd say wait for the DS.... it'll be able to play GBA games, anyway... (yeah, they gave in)
The visual style of Paper Mario... I always figured it was just a style, and that pretty much everything that happens to the paper characters could be interpreted in a literal sense if needed... of course, it's kinda hard to "interpret" Mario folding himself into a paper airplane in the second one. There was also that one Penguin author in Shiver City who said he was going to write a book on Mario's adventure entitled "Paper Mario"... perhaps that would be a way to look at it...
And you forgot Lakilester. And I've seen that animation before at your site. Very cute. ;D

How could I forget Lakilester (aka, Spike, right?). I was just watching the ending of Paper Mario (it's on tape, from the point of Mario getting back to Peach's castle until the fire works at the end. Anyway, Mario was riding him (for speed (and maybe safety), we didn't want to waste a badge point for the Speedy Spin, LOL. Hmm, so how was animation style of the last Zelda game explained? (Or was it?)
Graphic designers are having way too much fun with these games…*envy*
