Everyone knows but some people just use them. Its hard to tell both of theses things: Why were curses even considered curses in the first place? and Why do people even say curses?

Why were curses even considered curses in the first place? and Why do people even say curses? The same reason why society gasps as mentioned taboo topics like dead babies and masturbation. Their just not very nice things to say/talk about. That, and before cussing becamse so common that they've lost their meaning, they were words to carry strong emotion that was not suppose to be used in everyday convosation. Only extreme cases, like saying 'hate' instead of 'dislike' would be appropiete. That's my view of it, anyway. As long as I can say 'crap', I'm fine. That's just a quirk of mine. There should also be a censor on combonations such as replacing a c with ( or an M with (V) although I don't know where an M is used in any curse.

well a long time ago... in England they had this thing called Fornication- Under-Consent of-King or,the " F" word if shortened, which meant that people had to ask the King before they had sex. so when the kings soldiers caught people having sex w/out permission they would say you're F*cked. the F word wasn't a curse word til Americans made it one. Sorry mods and admins i wont ever do this again p.s. i will delete this if you want me to
