This seems to be something that has popped up lately now and then. With vacation on the rise as it is, and all of us getting out of school it's more abudant than it used to be. However, it's a simple little thing that many do and it's alright if it's been done. You know, the little threads about heading off to go on Vacation or to spend some time with the family. Everyone wants to know that you're safe and alright, but also remember that such threads don't last for long periods of time. They prove their purpose only for the period that you are gone. It can't be a withheld discussion. Because of that, it has come into a type of debate, that maybe for some better the threads should not be created. Of course, all do wish to understand the times that you may be gone and may be coming back. To make this apparent, never fret to post in the Journal Level Two. It was a thread made in a way to speak of things that came across your mind. Your life matters, so if something does come up, try to put your ideas into there. That way, it has more of a chance of being read and understood. If not, your farewell thread might even be pushed under the new post. If it's put into an active thread that is used for lively events, then it might come across to gain more than you think.
Another thing that hasn't really come up is the use of other "Threads" that only adress one person in general. Of course at times we all become desperate when someone won't answer a PM or message. Yet, don't try to contact them through a main thread, it only takes up space and deprives from the main subject of the area. This of course has already been covered in rules, yet it seems to be growing ever so steadily and out of sight. Give your messages that you send to your friends a bit of time to be answered. If they aren't, then try to email them or contact them in some other personal way. The only reason these threads cause any issue is because they only have one point. This point is directed toward one person, so a global conversation can not be held in the boards level. A thread usually gives way to a whole area that can be shortly covered by a huge range of ages and cultures, something that can be partaken in and used for some fun and learning. If your thread is pointed at one person, only they can really get the meaning of what you were trying to say. So never give up in contacting them personally, but try not to bring it onto the board itself. It takes a new step and placing personal things into a public sight.
Other than that, there really isn't much to say. But you all do have the best of summer, and when your vacations do start to come around, always feel free to post the information of your depature in "The Journal Level Two" Which can conviently be found in the Yoshi's Corner Journal section. Now that, that there is really amazing. Seriously though, if there is anything you need to put up about life changing and time being spent away, try to put it there. If you haven't at times, don't worry about it. Yet from now, at least see if you can get it in the Journal Level Two. Anything more less personal or that has to do with your life and what your up to should stick to the threads in that section. If there is anything anyone wants to add or say, always feel free to put what you wish. Though, one does wish you a very good vacation and have some fun if these are your last days of school. Hope the grades come in alright and that your classes didn't give any of you guys any troubles!
