I'm interested in it, but I'm not sure what I can do once school rolls around. XD How about "Yoshi's News Corner"? Or do you want to go for something more informal for a title?

I'm all for this, though don't know how I could personally assist. I'd be happy to do what I could though!

Writing, ideas, spreading the word, getting other people interested, and so on. I can't really think of anything else to help with at the minute as we're basically still throwing ideas around the place before the thing gets started proper. Also in case anyone wonder what I was thinking of with the layout, I have a test blorg going on wordpress so it'll probably end up looking like that ( mooot.wordpress.com/), unless somebody can pull some superfancy CSS editing to get it looking moar like Yoshi's Corner does, although a little variation from YCs default theme probably wouldn't hurt.

Hmm, the site style seems too different. It needs more padding on the sides, methinks. I'm also no fan of the huge empty space at the top. There are hundreds of pre-made styles you can choose from, and Pink _may_ be willing to do some CSS, but he seems to be pretty busy as of late. Really, either of those would work for me, but I'm not really a fan of the current style on your blog.

... actually forgot I had that style set, so ignore that <_>
I intended to show the post layout more than anything, but yeah my current sceme doesn't really fit in any way at all.

Even if you can't write or anything like that, you can still get the news out once the actual site gets up and running.

I'd expect there to be sections for games at least, art, popular threads, editorials or something maybe, I'm still throwing ideas around at present as well as trying to come up with a decent name for this so I can get a domain registered on wordpress for now.
Doesn't really have to be anything like that, or huge articles, it could just be pointing out some interesting thing you found on the intertron, perhaps.

If it involves writing articles then I'd definitely hit that and do double damage.
Editorials sound like a nice addition. I wouldn't think they'd have to be limited to the YC or internet.

I'm interested. The only experience I have is school essays, but my teacher says I can be persuasive on thing I feel strong about. I guess I can be random news, or even, if I can make a suggestion, a rant almost like part instead of fitting one of the recomendations for the newsletter.
WEEKLY RANT
Yeah.
Tell me what to do, and I'm all for it.

As long as you can write in an informative, interesting, funny manner, or combination of the above (and probably some other things I'm forgetting) I'm sure there'd be something you can do for this Bulletin thing.
I'm still trying to come up with a decent name for this, but I thought of "Yoshi's Corner News Network", only because then we'd have the acronym "YCNN", totally not stealing any thunder from the real CNN there, lawl

Informative, interesting, funny manner? Of course I can. I just need to know how to submit it and when.
Decent names... YCNN is pretty cool. As in, I doubt I can think of one better, and that is catchy as it is.

Once I get the actual blog up and running, its a simple matter of registering an account at Wordpress (you don't have to register a blog, just a username), telling me the email you signed up with, then some other stuff happens and I add you to the list of authorised writers for the site.
From then on, you can basically update with what you want (within reason of course) when you want.

I already signed up to WordPress.com just to see if I could do the API key stuff to my off-site blog, but the hosting I have is dumb and doesn't allow outbound connections to WordPress.com, so it can't be verified. Ah well, at least I have an account now.

Its good you have an account, after reading your review of Super Paper Mario on your own bloggernets I was considering asking if you'd write anything for this, the review you did was a good piece.
Addendum: I'm going to use the "Yoshi's Corner News Network" name. I've not had any objections to it so far, so why not.

Double post for importance: ycnn.wordpress.com/The website is live now, and as its new its obviously quite empty. Anybody who was interested in writing for this, Notify me with the email address you used to sign up to Wordpress with, and I'll get you added to the authors list so you can start posting all manner of fancy things. how about that, I got more done here in a week then what was done in a whole year lololo
