Ok, here's a pic that took me 8 months to finish (due to being completely deprived from free time). It's me and Karinda as kids, building a sand castle ^_^ I am hoping to be able to draw more often...

................. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I love it! ;D It's soooo cute! Oh man! I soo want to go to the beach right now. Dagnabbit, that's frickin' awesome! You know, I still really wish I knew how to make those thin lines and perfect curves and whatnot. As you can see, my drawings are still just darkened pencil crap .

Ah! It's-a so cute! Kweh! Excellent! I like how you integrated them so nicely into the photograph. It's the little details - the footprints, the shadows, and the little red shovel - that make it believable... Verr nice, indeed...

Wow, that is such a cute picture! ^o^ Teh ickleness of yuu two! n___n Lookit the toes! *pokes the toes* XD Very sweet indeed. =] The only thing I can see is a little strange (Oh my life, I'm critting the webmaster on his pic? What a deathwish! ) is that the arms of both characters seem to be missing elbows, BUT...I think I can see where you were going with it, so its no biggie really. Heck, least you can be without banging your funny bones on doorframes anymore! (I do it ALL the time...ouchie...n_n*) And as Fifth said, its all the little details that make it such a great picture too...hehe, 8 months? I'm lucky if I can get a decent sketch out in that time. And er...in conclusion, I must run away screaming. *flails arms and runs away* For you see, I have a phobia of sand. No, really. I can't look at this pic for too long, it gives me the cringes. n___n*

Thanks everyone!!!! ^_^! ;D ;D! I did not try to add elbows because they would be too small to be noticeable. But of course they have elbows. With this pic I tried not to concentrate so much on the "little mistakes", as I have noticed that this is largely responsible for my "low output" of pics. I still see many little details that I could have tried to fix. For example, the blue pail has an irregular shape. But then if I tried to fix them all, this pic would certainly have never been finished.

Yah, I know what you mean...hey, I look at my pictures and notice tiny things like that all the time, but most people don't seem to notice them unless you tell them or its blatantly obvious you left something out. =] *prods Soul* You must do more! ^o^

Well yeah if you say exactly what's wrong in the picture, everyone will then take a look back at it again and see the problem. That's why you have to keep the mistakes to yourself...

Hehehe, I think he's actually right about that. At least wait a little until people start giving critiques and pinpointing weaknesses or whatever. And if nobody sees the mistake, then it shouldn't be too much of a problem . However, I did notice the shape of the bucket before you mentioned it, but I doubt anybody would care and would probably see past that if it were for you not pointing it out.
