Yeah, both of you shouldn't beat up on yourselves! My 8th grade art teacher always told me that everyone has their own style of drawing. There's no style that is better or worse than anyone else's. I believe him completely.

Practice makes better. Besides, they are all right, everyone has their own unique art style. Absolutely no art style is better than any other. Sometimes they are sharply shaded with excellent contrast and brightning, whil others are more loosely drawn. Either way, all styles are unique. Don't beat up yourself. Artists usually undervalue their work. For example, this native american woman loved to draw creatively, yet she only sold her paintings at about 25 cents. She would rather give them away. Her art, however, was worth much more than 25 cents. |
