Anyone see it? I saw it yesterday, and I must say, it has gotten a lot better with the new director. He added in his little things that made it a lot better.. like the end. But I wont reveal it for anyone who hasnt seen it. Buckbeak and Hermione are my favorite.. Prof. Lupin was pretty cool too. Emma Watson = talented and hot. I want to meet her. -SHOTSHOTSHOT- ><; So.. other comments? lol

I don't like Harry Potter, and I never saw it, but my 3 friends who DID see it said they thought it was the worst of the three and the new director sucks a lot. they said he left out/altered a lot of stuff from the book.

It wasnt a griffin, it was a hippogryph. xD And.. yeah some people just dont like Harry Potter and all that fantasy shnazz. I'm not very into it myself, but I have to admit, it was a good movie.

A Hippogryff... that's the offspring when a Griffon mates with a Mare, correct? That's the lore I've heard...

What exactly is a griffon? Bird + ? = Griffon?
Anyway in the movie thats what it seemed.. It was a birds head with huge wings, a feathered body, but huge hooved legs. Beautiful, really.

Griffon = Bird + Lion. A Hippogryph has a horse somewhere in that equation. And, yes, the one in Harry Potter was really well-done.

Lol, NightCroshi wants Emma Watson.
Nah I've only seen the first movie...by force... It was okay, but I like the books better.

Hippogriff = Horse + Eagle. Nuh-uh. It says in my "Fantasy Picture Book" - Something that came with RM2K3 the explain the origins of some of the monsters - that a Hippogriff is the offspring form a Griffon and a Mare.
