The picture is hers and it isn't stolen. I was talking to Kin about watermarks and that there are ways to remove it. So she gave me this picture to tamper with. And yeah, I forgot to smudge the other letters, so it wouldn't be visible. But if this was an actual ripped picture, people wouldn't see it that quickly. Heck, it could be pixelage. Since both artists could be rippers, if it was in a art-steal scenario and webhost would likely not trust both. I've smudged them now. Now look.   |

And - I told you so. They don't look "that" smudged. Nor does the letters look visible to me that is. Once again, if you complained about a person that ripped a picture from you like this. Chances are rather high that the host hosting the ripped picture won't do anything about your picture or the art stealer. |

Gosh, DeviantArt seems to be chock-full of thieves... I'm glad I've never joined there. I've heard so many horror stories of art theft...

When it comes to having work being theived, it's always a good idea to have the original pieces with you, that way, if the opportunity arrives, you show them the absolute original, (Photographed if in traditional media, the PSD/OES/PSP files if computer coloured.
You cannot reason against that hun.

I always keep the original pictures in a safe place.
And it kinda helps if you have a lot of friends, if someone stole art from Luna, and if that guy ripped the copyright.
Hundreds of people will be pissed on that guy.
Yeah, DA is full of art thieves. One of my friend's sprite got stolen. By a 'crappy' artist.
I'm not gonna call names, and the issue have been dealt with.
The sprite has been taken away from the guy's account.
