I'm actually quite pleased with the outcome. This was done for a contest on another board, so I thought i'd put it up here for all to see. I still don't have a scanner, so I used my digital camera. Any advice from the pros?

well, im not really a pro, but i have a few tips: 1. connect the hands with the body-dont have them buldging out like that and 2. just a tip i would tell anyone, not just you, shading makes perfect! shade your pictures-if you want. they will look alot better! (dont ask me how to shade, im practacally a beginer at that stuff myself)
otherwise, thats an awsome attempt at drawing yoshi look at you or facing front. its alot easier drawing him sideways (i think) awsome pic!

Hey, at least you've drawn a Yoshi 5 years ago before . This is actually pretty good. Not sure what I can advise you on. Maybe the shoes need to be bigger? Heh. EDIT: Purty signature, by the way XD.

Strangely reminds me of the first time I drawn Yoshi... But mine was blue with 2 machine guns. If only I had a scanner... Argh.

Hmmm...nothing i can really say, its quite good...make the feet a bit bigger next time, but apart from that its a great attempt, even if it has been 5 years!

5 years is a very long time since you haven't drawn Yoshi. You probably were better back then huh? Your skills weakened over the course of time, I'm guessing! No advice, just, hope you'd post another one in this decade.

Thanks for the compliments.
I'll be sure to try shading in my next Yoshi drawing, Red.Yoshi.
Yup, I'll be sure to make the feet a little bigger too, Teh yoshi and Toshi.
You're probably right there. i'll have to get the old portfolios out I think! I used to draw alot but I stopped for some reason. I still have everything. I know one of the things I did, was stick 48 Sheets of a4 paper to the wall and attempt to freehand the box art of Yoshi's Island. That was back in 1997, when I first moved into this house, and had my own room. I didn't finish it, but i'll stick it back up and take a pic. Showed how much of a Yoshi fan I was back then. I wanted to do it straight onto the wall, but, when I moved out, i'd wan't the wall taking out to put in my new house, lol, so I went out and bought a load of paper, and sellotape, and stick it all up.
Ha, it's a nightmare to fit into the tiny box on bank paying in slips. I'm thankful when I see a long dotted line, but I always read what i'm agreeing to first, lol.
Again, thanks. I'll get onto doing the next in a few days. I really need to start drawing again. This other person I've met has some unbeliveable artistic talents. I'll have to get him down here. He's a great inspiration.
