Had no idea how i came up with this, must've thought it'd be a cute idea...tried practicing on me shading with this one too...but i'm unsure of how well it looks...what do you lot think?  (p.s. Yes, that is a Watermelon he's dreaming about...i know it doesnt look like one...) |

Actually, I already knew it was a watermelon, you could tell if you focused on it!
Cute, your shading has become so great, that your art now looks incredibly realistic and professional! I love the improvement!

Toshi, this picture if great!!!!! I think you did a really great job on this. I love everything about this picture. The hat, the yoshi sleeping with the zzzzz's above his head. The creases in the pillow. This picture reminds me of some video games I have, too! (Which makes me like this picture for reminding me of those games) For example the hat reminds me of a kirby game I have, because kirby falls asleep, and has a hat like that. *looks at everyone who knew right off that was a watermelon* I didn't know that was a watermelon at first...I thought it was a window with a shade on it.....yep.....but watermelon, shade, both work out for the picture. Can't really find anything to improve on in this picture.....perhaps you could have drawn a bed, but thats it.

You know Yoshi~*, it can actually look like a window with watermelon patterned shades! That one cool observation (although, there is a thought bubble outside of it). They both make perfect sense though. |

You know Yoshi~*, it can actually look like a window with watermelon patterned shades! That one cool observation (although, there is a thought bubble outside of it). They both make perfect sense though. At first glance I didn't see the thought bubbles leading up to it. It also sort of looks like the thought bubbles are going pass the window, and to a dream we can't see. I guess it was the fact that the watermelon looked more flat, like Fifth said. Thanks for liking my first observation though. |

wow excellent work! you have good coloring and color shading skills.. and yeah the only thing i can see that could use a little work is the wtermelon and the bubble its floating in.
