If your scanner is any good, you should be able to save it as a .jpeg, or something.
Otherwise... get an image converter like Irfanview, or something.

Convert it. Goto www.xnview.com and download xnview. It can open anything. once you've opened it up in XNview, click file>Save as... and change the save as type to Jpeg/JPG. It's brilliant!

I just edit the file name so it says .jpg on the end, but that doesn't always work properly. Open it up on paint and do "save as" and select "JPG" as the file type. I think. Paint rocks.

It doesn't convert them, it just makes another file that is the same picture but a format you wish, including JPEG. Just 'Save as...' the file once you've opened it in XNView and change the 'Save as type' Box to say JPEG - JPG and save. you're done! Edit: XNView does do conversions but it's designed to Mass convert but still works with just the one file. The above is simpler but: This is XNView's Browser View and i'm browsing one of my many image folders. This just happens to be the Birdo Folder. Click the image you want to convert ONCE. Click the 'Tools' Dropdown above and click Convert. You'll get a windows like this: Click the '...' at the end of the 'Directory' Box and point it to where you want to save the file and click ok. then click 'Go'. Go to where you specified in the 'Directory' Box and it'll be in there. You're done!
