I had no clue what to call this. So obvious title wins the day. And so do I, for posting an xmas themed pic two months early! Hurawr. There was an influx of MSPaint pics, so I stowed away on the bandwagon. Such a simple and cool program, I do love its pixel-perfectness, heheh. Well, the pic...just a Yoshi, looking all solemn in the snow. A little abstract, err...I guess. Gold doesn't get much recognition I say. Heres hoping this xmas isn't as gut-wrenchingly depressing as last years, hah.

Whyever has this not been commented on yet Have to say this is pretty impressive, those smooth lines (smooth for MSPaint, anyway) made me think you'd vectored this... certainly seeing as I consider MSPaint more of a novelty program than anything

Because nobody loves me. I think I'll go eat some worms. ='(
Heheh, I've never gotten the hang of vetoring...but I do love vector art, I suppose it is influenced a bit by that style. I should probably attempt to try something in Photoshop again, when I have a lot of time, patience and tea.
Thank you for the comment. : D

Hmm, MSPaint-ness? Too bad I can't draw anything with mouse... or with anything else, haha. I think I need to code a script that automatically inserts some kind of "OMFG THATZ AWESOME n!!!" message into the top of my posts that go to Koshizu made art threads. Cuz all of them is "OMFG THATZ AWESOME n!!!", dangit. No? =P Very nice work, especially if the viewer knows about the mspainthing. Yargh, I just like how Microsoft haven't done anything decent change on that program for hundred of years, heh. They're all soo professionals D: Hmm... snowy background reminds me: can't wait for the first snow clouds! Now, I just need to buy a coat or something warm clothes

That's cool! I like to mix styles of Paint and PhotoImpression, but I use the normal lines to avoid too-hardness. Hmmm...maybe if I select the black lines and use a soft-edge... Because nobody loves me. I think I'll go eat some worms. ='( Oh, don't punch yourself like that, Koshizu! You'll make ME upset and the room I'm in will flood.

Bendy, hehehe...kinda feels more warped the longer I look at it. D: Thanks Yoshifrog. : D
I really need a new mouse, haha...my one is optical, but junky as hell...and I broke the scrollwheel...geez, must've been at least a year ago now. My graphic tablet is also dead, but MSPaint is not the right program to use a tablet with, in my opinion. Well, anything that requires freehand sure, but not if its a premade tool like beizer, heh. Aiee, and snowclouds are pretty indeed! I can't wait for them either, heh. I have a big multi-pocketed hobo jacket I bought in the summer sales, hopefully I can have a chance to wear it now! Heheh. Thanks for le comment, norby. : D
Hah, coloured lines make everything look softer. Its a nice thing to try sometime, just to take the bold black line...er...'edge' off the picture, hahah. Come cry a river with me! D:

The title creeped me out for a bit.
Hmmm... it looks like that Yoshi is missing arms. And I'm unsure how light is getting underneath the lip and chin/chest area. I like how there's no outlines. It's different and really nifty. *Applauds and stuff*

This piece of artwork is very unique. I like how the entire picture just seems to blend in with itself. I would say it's very well done! Even in Paint!

Abstract, indeed. XD I like the border, at least. =D And the snow flakes in the background are really nice.
Great gold color on the Yoshi, by the way. I like the whole shape of the head. ^^

it dosent all sink in at first - i really have to look.without the title i wouldve thought that the white mounds of snow in the backdrop were wings, or clouds.
it dosent for some reason look right to me. the long neck mabye? i dont know. great job on the shading and coloring anyway!

Hmm. I think it's that bendy body that does it. The snowmounds were easy to see as long as you look at it- abstract is just like that. You can interpret it any way you want- and this is sort of abstract.

Missing arms? Naah...I'm merely paying homage to Super Mario World Yoshi - before he turned into a frog, he had such a cool long neck. I would've made his entire body visible, but thats just not the kind of picture I wanted to draw. Like I said...abstract-esque. The light, yeah...is very skewed. I figured if the light was coming dead straight from the center of the left side, his nose would obstruct some of it on his mouth. I would also say that it was part of the overall style of the picture, but it really is just my rusty cel shading. The rest of the picture isn't bound to logic...so I assume the lighting can be void for now, hahah. Ehehe...I knew someone would comment about the 'snow'...they're actually stars. I was going to do snow, but it would've detracted from the main point, I think. Plus, I think eveningtime stars are nice. Thanks for all the comments. : D

Since I scanned and uploaded 'em, some other 'classic' Yoshi arts before the 'frog' style baby Yoshi's were introduced and adopted since Yoshi's Story. x-plane.org/home/ukguybry/smwyosh2.jpgx-plane.org/home/ukguybry/smwyosh3.jpgAnd yes, nice picture. I've never really been a massive fan of large pics done in paint but I appreciate what it takes to make them look good like that. Gold Yoshi is a nice idea too.

Oh, so they were stars. I was going to say that, then I thought it was a snowy picture ^^;
The long neck-style looks good with the picture, by the way. You used the Spray tool for the shading on the clouds, correct? Because they look good that way.

Heh, company? Probably just need a good scarf for his/her long neck, heheh. Although company is very nice in wintertime, yes... Thank you for the comment, Teo! Ahhh...I am very flattered by your comment also, Fifth. Thank you very much, it means a lot. Ack, all my SNES games are/were second hand, so I have no boxes or manuals to them. I must acquire Mario Kart, at least...=(
