Your coloring is a bit of a mess here. You should use a black line to outline it. Art pad isn't a really good art program. You should use MS Paint instead. Not bad for a first try though.

I don't think a black outline is necessary...after all, painting really uses the knowledge of building up a picture in layers rather than sticking to a solid outline. Of course, anything is possible, but eh...call me old fashioned, I would say that adding a black outline to something only works if its a graphical or specific pen drawing. Or a print, or something. Blah, I explained this in another ArtPad thread elsewhere. I think its a cute picture, a little more work on the cheek and it'd look great.

The eyes are very pretty. It is kinda sloppy though, and the bottom of the head looks somewhat flat. If you had done it a little neater, it would have been a pretty good picture, definitely. Artpad is also not the best painting program if you have anything else to use. Good job, though ^^

It looks good, but where are her scales on the back of her head? Yeah, the "spikes" on the back of a Yoshi's head are called scales.

the back of the head needs to curve a little but it's great. Also, black lines aren't always neccesary but it looks neater. as for the scales, people forget
