I wanted to add little islands and clouds like the Yoshi Island background but I can't make it work on paint. His right arm is on his right leg.

Yeah it was made in paint. The background was painstakingly made by switching my windows style to the original version, coloring the title bar, printscreening it, and then copy and pasting it together.
