Ok, 2 days. First day, drawing. In the end, this spanned across 3 sheets of paper because it was too big, oh well. Scanned them all, because the scanners a crap little packard bell one, had to go over all the lines because this scanner sucks. After tidying up, added colour. All fine until I looked at the whole image, and decided I mucked up while drawing the body after drawing the head. Head was too small, crud. Resize, refit, result worked out better than I thought. Just finished the gruesome job of shading in Photoshop. It's taken me 2 hours to get it alright. Never thought about doing shading until today, so my fault partially, but, meh. Obviously shows I need to work on it more. Still, this is a pose I've not done before, so it probably worked out well this time. Meh, I can't decide. Good attempt? spyro24uk.com/stuff/pink_021205.jpgBackground made in Terragen.

I think it's pretty good, Pink. The Yoshi looks fine, and the shading was done very well. The only I would do differently is to make the Yoshi and the background more accurately proportional to each other.

You need to draw more stuff Pretty good, I'd say. Good pose, background, all looks fine to me. Only thing that sticks out to me that the background seems to be out proportion, maybe adding something for the Yoshi to stand on there might make it look a little more "even" for want of a better word. Personally I think the shading could be a little less subtle, but thats just me... the subtle look may be what you like, I don't know. Regardless its still better than I can do in photoshop I'll look forward to your next thing

Nice job! I like how you decided to go for an approach from behind, even though that view is quite difficult! And the pose looks awesome in that background. Looks like a scene from FFXI, at a camp where someones about to go into battle with their party! Keep it up, PFY!

Heheh, yes, you're definitely improving, slowly. ^^ I like the back perspective muchly. As with the others, I agree that if the background was a little more in-proportion, with something for you to be standing on, it would lok significantly better.
It took reminded me of Konchstat Highlands in FFXI. Double-scoop ice cream

A nice improvement pinky boy. The only thing i have a problem with is the proportions, but despite that, its a really nice piece ^^

Unexpected very positive responces, heh. Thanks all. Very much appreciated! ^^;
About that background, I wanted a snowy background with snow falling, and attempted it, but it sucked so bad. Any advice on doing a snowy background? How exactly do you draw snow? I'm willing to learn to add it in so I can improve, as I wish for part of this to be the header of my main blog, as well as, an upcoming peice which includes a tree =S.

Oh my gawd, he drew more things! Haha, dude, that's really good. You pulled off that back perspective very well. Keep up the gravy stuff ^^! And by the way, yeah, he does look like he's standing on something non-descript.
