Giftart: Leonidas the Golden Warrior [for Lazoshi]

Okay.. so back when we did the Y4 RPG, Lazoshi helped out quite a bit and made an uber-cool character named Leonidas, a Greek based character with all sorts of cool weapons - hoplon and xyston as you can see in the picture. Well, I decided to draw him. Too bad I forgot about the sketch until two days ago, and now I'm giving him this super late picture. Sorry! >>; Anyways, I worked about 5-6 hours on this all together, and this is only the 75% size picture, cuz it was sooo huge. If you want the 100%, you can PM me, Lazoshi.

Whoaz! You're improving a lot, methinks. Nice job on his pose and the shading. I really like that sky, too.

I just think that the sunset in the back could've been a bit brighter. It looks sort of dull with just that color orange. I think lighter and brighter oranges, or maybe a lens flare, could've made it more realistic. Also, those little orange lines around him, I'm guessing suggests shiny-ness, sort of bother me. I don't think you should've made them transparent. And maybe you could've used a lighter orange. Still, nice job! Keep it up!

the only criticism i have to offer is that i think the feet need a li'l bit more detail.

LD - his tail isn't really small, it's perspective and my own style of anthro Yoshies that makes the tail small, I guess.
