Just a little sketch I did during school today. I absolutely love the way this came out, I think it is probably one of my best. While drawing this, I had a bit of trouble with the saddle (as you can probably see), so I decided to just totally drop it, totally and completely. I always have trouble with them. Anyways, here it is... What are your thoughts? Any critique?

At this point, I really don't have anything bad to say about this. I think it turned out gorgeous (woah, the first time I've used that word XD).
Strangly enough, from certain angles, I have trouble without the saddle XD

It's quite cute, Yonie! It looks like you put in a lot of effort into this for it just being a sketch. The monochrome coloring scheme that you applied for this is quite accurate in luminosity as well.

Aw, cute expression! It's amazing how much one can express with something as simple as a pencil-sketch. Two thumbs up on a job well done!

Wow that picture came out great! Can I do an art trade with you Yonie? If so, I am a pink yoshi with a red kimono or dress and red gloves.

I'm looking forward to this art trade Hoshi. I've always been a little unsettled with the size I draw my eyes, it's good to hear that people think they're cute. Thanks for all the comments!!!

Aw Yonie, this is adorable. I admire you shading, which is tough on paper. And the smooth looking outline that's flicks off thin at ends and the lighting to the piece gives it a soft looking texture. The shoes are small, cute, and round, which really makes the innocence in this picture stand out more. This is very well done, keep up the nice work!

Excellent shading, and there's none of that scratchy border line nonsense either!
9.5
Full 10 if it was on regular paper.

Oh my gosh, that is so adorable! That is just too amazingly cute! I have to know how you did that so incredibly well!... How did you do that?? Sorry, I have no clue how to even put it in words. I just visualize the picture on the paper and just draw, thats about it. Going into detail, when I'm done I usually clean it up and then color it. One good thing about my unsteady hand is that it's perfect for drawing in eyes and applying thin streaks of lead that dissapear after you rub it in (when I shade). Thats it I guess. Thanks for all the posts everyone. I'm glad you guys like it.
