I haven't posted pics up recently, when I should have. So, here's one I made for Pawy last week: www.deviantart.com/view/28949734/And one for Yapi earlier today: www.deviantart.com/view/29081017/Good news, bad news, and worse news: Good news: I finally figure out how to use that evil pen tool! I may finally be able to make decent pics! Bad news: I still aren't that good at drawing with the pen tool. is anyone has an critique, please let me know, I really want to improve as fast as possible. Worse news: I am loosing photoshop in nine more days. Then, it's back to regular MS paint. I don't know why I am wasting my time with photoshop, I guess I always wanted to say I made one decent pic that I can be definitely proud of, and that people will love. Until that day comes when I can proudly say it's my best work, I'll keep on improving. That's why I want critique, while I still have that opportunity. because my chances of getting better will die when I have to go back to MS Paint.

They are both cute- I like the one of Yapi especialy, the effect on it makes it look neat and original. Keep it up!

Nice Job on both! I never seen the pen tool on Elements...what does it do?
And how did you download a trail of Photoshop?

I went to their website and just downloaded their trial. It's 30 days only, though, so make sure you get what you want out of it before the trial expires

I thought you said you sucked with Photoshop Honestly though, I can't really find any significant faults with the second one. My only gripe is that the neck in that one looks a little strange, but considering that this is your first time using the Pen tool (as far as I know) I can disregard that as part of the learning process My only real tip for the Pen tool is to work at a huge size, then scale it down afterwards. Its a lot easier than messing around trying to accurately place points in a smaller window. What version of photoshop are you using, out of interest?

they are not that good, that's why I am trying to improve.
I am using CS2, and there may be a chance that I might get it, but chances are slim
