I'll try to make this short cause it's late. I always make an "about me" thread whenever I sign up to a new forum so here goes!
I'm a 19 year-old girl who chills in California. I currently work at Staples and am planning to go to college in the fall. When I'm not workin', I like to compose & mix music on my computer. (I'll give you some links to my stuff later on.) I also like to draw Yoshi, but I don't do it enough. I'm currently working on a website entitled, The Yoshi Boomerang that'll have all of my mixes, Yoshi art and other goodies.
Well, hopefully I kept your guys' interest throughout that short read. Anyone else wanna talk about themselves?

hey now why didnt i think of that... ok heres mine.
It was a dark stormy night.... oh wait its supposed to be real. ok, then heres my real one. my name is Kurtis Thompson and i am 15 yrs old. when schools over i go home and chill on my PS2 or gamecube (but i seem to not be doing that as much as i used too). if not those i go on all of my messageboards that i am a part of to see what is goin on. i love drawing yoshi and i have made all my friends yoshi fans but they still need work on. i am a loud and obnoxious freak that will probably stay a white single man all his life. my religion is mormonism and i am proud of it. i am also currently working on a website called "yoshis lagoon" but school has been getting in the way lately. well that was fun

It's nice to meet you! I live in the sunshine state, Florida. It's a wonderful place to be in. You should all visit in the summer! So you're going to college, I'm planning to go to a university when I graduate high school but I don't know where to go yet. I currently am 13, so I have ample time to think it over. I'm so happy for you, you're going towads a great life!

Most of my mixes are original compositions. I've actually only made one remix, which was of the ocean level from the Sega Genesis game, Vectorman. It's about 85% done; I just need to change a bunch of things in it, but maybe I'll post a link here so you guys can listen to what I have so far. This fall I'm going to go to the community college here then transfer to a university after two years. (Sorry, I don't give out info of where I'm going to go.) I can't wait to go, though! I love school!

Cool, anyone who's remixed game music is OK in my book. I guess I'll go now: I think I'm the oldest Yoshi fan I know of at 21 . I live and go to college in California (a lot of Californians here). I've got a Yoshi-related site where I house a bunch of random drawings; my art ability pales in comparison to others' at my school (it's kind of an art school, so there's a lot of amazing stuff,) but I try not to let it get to me... Oh, yeah: I also like making (or trying to make) pointless computer games. Hm.. I think that's about it. Oh, wait- I'm also a hardcore, old-school (or "kit spices") gamer.

Well, here I go. This is going to be as brief as I feel fit.... I think. I live in southern California (yes, lots of Californians here), and I rarely draw anymore, let alone Yoshi. I mean, if you were to look at my drawing history of mediocre and higher pictures in my life, there would probably be only less than 15 or so. That's how often I draw. Lately, I've been doing other things for Yoshi besides drawing, for example, my paper model or ceramics mug. Recently, I finished a complete 3D Yoshi (it's the Yoshi's Story style of Yoshi because that's the easiest to make in clay for its numerous spheres) made of clay and is waiting to become fired in the kiln. My favorite type of music is hardcore (new people would call it the stereotypical happy hardcore for its uplifting and happy fast paced beats). Umm... what else? I seldomly practice the piano for my own good, and when I finally get finger picks, I'd start teaching myself the banjo . I can already play a few small tunes on it, and I can usually play by ear and figure out chords. As for games, I hardly ever play any, but when I do, I would just fire up some SNES or N64 games for nostalgiac value. Keepin' it old skool! I don't usually go for the super new and crazy games today on those new fangled consoles. Heck, my PS2 is best used as a DVD player, and I wish I could sell it. I also pretty much dislike made for computer games, especially first person shooters. Most of the people on them are such jerks who can't spell if their lives depended on it. I don't know what else to write about...

Yeah, Fifth, I had an idea you were the oldest one here. I got the idea somewhere on your website, which is very cool, I might add. I actually use one of your drawings for my desktop wallpaper. It's the one with the "gang" up on the cliff with the sweet lookin' clouds. Your stuff is awesome! I'm also an oldie Yoshi fan; I'll be 20 in June. tehyoshi, being able to play things by ear on the banjo is pretty amazing. Being musically talented (I play alto sax, guitar and a little violin) I know listening is one of the hardest things to do when performing music. You should keep up with performing. It sounds like you have real potential!

I can already play those Mario songs, and maybe better if I practiced enough/ lose my nervousness.

"Ta'ni" means thank you, and "kweh" is indeed the sound that Chocobos make. It's worked its way into my everyday vocabulary.
