Praticing with styles

Yeah. I was starting to get a little bored with my old style, so I decided to give different kinds of styles a shot. Note the more flat nose, thus leading space to make the eyes a bit wider (and I don't know for the fact if that's good or not). As for the attire changes... well, I decided I'd give my character a shirt who's colors worked better with my yoshi, and a blue and white striped shirt looks a bit better then gray. And as you can also see, I replaced my character's glasses with goggles (and I have no idea how those'd fit on his head.) After several attempts, I gave it a rest and put them on his head, instead. Once again, I don't know whether or not these will be absolutely new or not.

Now for the faults. I'll admit, I kind of rushed this bit, and I have no idea what I was thinking when I made the grass, try your best to ignore the very questionable lines. I also know the very small lines that are visible on the clouds outlines, but I couldn't figure out of to fix them, so I had to leave them, making it seem a bit less 3D.

As always, comments (preferably critique) would be great. Also, I'd like opinions on my character's new cloths and goggles, because I am trying to decide whether or not I should keep them.

I like the grey. It suits your personality better. And jackets are cool XD
I also like the glasses better. But keep the goggles, they could be useful if you wanted to swim.
As for the proportions... The head seems a bit large. Is that what you wanted? And the feet are kinda small.

I do like the background choice, though, with the ocean. Nice job.

I don't know, you look like an 11 year old setting out for adventure like that, and you definetaly look less shy, maybe even more friendly and adventurous.

If you want to keep with your old personality, this is not the look... but still, Leo here is SUPER UBBER CUTE!!
