DA version: www.deviantart.com/view/36181165/Just another pic of Leoshi, turning his head to face backward, or in the viewer's case, toward them. Made out of pure boredom, the result of drawing the first thing that came to me durring a time of extreme artist's block. So then, what is there to say about this piece? Well, I again reverted back to my older style. As you can see, there was a bit of laziness involved with the outcome of this one (i.e., the complete lack of the blue stripes on his shirt, making it look plain-white. I also drew the glasses instead of the goggles (still trying to decided which would look nicer). I also drew my ship again, which seems to be quite capable of making many cameos. This time, since I have used the side view too much, I decided to draw it from the bow's angle, as if it were sailing toward shore. Also to note, I tried a new style of shading concerning the sky and ocean. I don't like how some of the lines are comming out, though. Does anyone think I should try to make them a bit thicker (and I'm looking for opinion, so don't hesitate to suggest). Well, that's all to say about this piece. Comments?

Mmm, I like this piece. It's got a nice, simple composition, and the character has sort of a pensive expression... I see nothing wrong with the linework ('cept for the scribbly grass, if that counts), but I think the Yoshi's arm is weird.
I also like the ship. Both how it looks from the front and in the distance, and how it provides balance on the left.

the arm does seem a bit strange.
your style is very unique and creative Leoshi, and that is what I look for most in at art piece. you have done a fantastic job with this masterpiece ^^.

Haha, your arm's too long compared to the rest of you. That's what's wrong with it. Your nostrils seem a little too far apart, too.
Mmm, I'm liking the sky and water there, Leo. I do like the glasses better than the goggles; they make him seem a little more serious.
That boat is awesome; I love the angle. But wouldn't it generate some kind of wave if it were sailing?
Oh yeah, and that blur effect in the background gives it depth. Good job Double-scoop ice cream

I know I've said this before but I'm really amazed on how much your art has changed in the period that I was gone.
It looks really great. Nice clean outlining, nice shading, and nice background. The ocean water and the small areas of reflecting light is cool looking too. Also I like the small not so obvious clouds in the sky, they just fade so well into the sky. All of it looks awesome. Fantastic Job Leoshi!
