For the record, I'm personally not very happy with this, but I've uploaded it all the same.
I'm glad I wasn't in the buisness during the 2D days. Its so much more limited than what you can do today. But I digress. This was made purely for fun as a break from the more dull stuff I make my living from.
Note, this download is big, 50mb or so. And it contains spoilers. Like showing the final story battle in Mario Party 5.
Yoshi Video
What you have here is a video over 7 and a half minutes long in fairly hi-res filled with Yoshi moments from Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mario Kart 64, Paper Mario, Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Mario 64, and Mario Party 5.
Dubbed over with clips from 5 Soundtracks
Track 1: Yoshi On The Beach (Nintendo 64 : Yoshi's Story) arrangment from the Mario & Zelda Big Band Live CD
Track 2: Super Mario 64 Opening Theme ~ Overworld Theme (Nintendo 64 : Super Mario 64) arrangement from the Mario & Zelda Big Band Live CD
Track 3: Bowser's Theme from the Super Mario 64 Original Soundtrack CD
Track 4: Ultimate Bowser from the Super Mario 64 Original Soundtrack CD
Track 5: Medley of Super Mario Bros. (Family Computer : Super Mario Bros.) arrangement from the Mario & Zelda Big Band Live CD. Very short clip from the end of the track.
I have over 2000 video game mp3's on my PC, about 50% of which are Nintendo ones. For a full list of the Nintendo mp3's, check this link:
bry's Nintendo mp3 list
If there are any you want, just ask I actually have quite a few more than that, but I decided not to add remixes to the list.
As an extra note on the Mario & Zelda Big Band Live CD, that is not the same mp3's available on zeldapower.com which were only in 56kbs or so. They are mp3's I made myself from the original CD which I imported and are in 320kbs.
The video needs the most up to date codecs from Microsoft to play correctly. And it won't work on a mac.
Enjoy the movie if you download it. Might bring back some memories. I hate it, but you might like it, lol.
phew, if you've managed to read this far, kudos to you
