Just curious, because all of us love Yoshi, but does it mean that you like Nintendo for it? I love Nintendo, so for me, yes i do, but you lot?  |

I dunno if its a matter of loyalty or not.. just that Nintendo's format of games has always appealed to me and it still does.
I'm proud that I'm still happy to play Mario games and I don't lie about it. I feel really sorry for people who won't play them because "they're for kids".
Same for something like WindWaker. People refused to play that game just because of its visual style. I find that a real shame.

I like Nintendo. It's playful and unique games is what catches my attention and makes me want to play on! Their unforgettable characters, their game forms, their history, it all appeals to me. Plus I love Nintendo multiplayer games, they are a heck of a lot of fun! ;D

I like Nintendo!! How can one not. The games are fun, they have good plot games (usually), and they have yoshi and the gang, plus more. Nintendo is my favorite company that makes games.

I've been with Nintendo as far as I can remember, and that was back to when I was 4, and the newest stuff was the SNES and the monochrome Gameboy. I've always preferred their games because they're interesting and unique, and not rehashes of the same old stuff over and over. Plus, Nintendo actually makes games for its console, and good ones at that; they made games like Pikmin which may not be the best games ever made, but are still a breath of fresh air compared to endless racing games and whatnot that other companies release for their console.
I also stay loyal to Nintendo because of the competition. Granted, Sony isn't bad and the PS2 is a good console, but Microsoft is just gouging your pockets with the XBox and all you ever hear from their fanbase is "Halo, halo, halo".
Oh, yeah, and Nintendo made Yoshi. Can't forget that. A cute little creation that's not head-scratchingly strange like most of the Pokemon, but unfortunately doesn't get many games of his own.

if Nintendo didn't make everything that this did with me, I would not be here, for two good reasons, I would never have liked Video Games as now, and I would never have learned how to speak English.

Oh, don't get me wrong either. I'm more than happy to play Xbox, PS2 and even my old Dreamcast. It just happens that atleast in this generation of consoles, it has been the Gamecube exclusives that have appealed to me most. That said, I do tend to rotar between systems based on what I feel like or when something new and big comes out. As if happens right now its the PC that's been getting the most time as I've been messing about with the Sims 2. Already made a lineup of Nintendo/Mario/Yoshi releated clothes Afterall, I personally know one of the producers of Sudeki on the Xbox and the lead beta tester for Gran Turismo 1 & 2, but I can't say I know anyone important at Nintendo sadly. ^_^; Imagine that, on personal speaking terms with Shigeru Miyamoto. That'd be a heck of a thing. |
