Well, I got a new scanner today. And guess what?
It's black. It's not a clunky as the old one, but it has all the same stuff on it. Let's hope it doesn't butcher the colors on my pictures, heheh.
I've been looking at a lot of art lately, since I have nothing better to do and I'm all typed out from doing homework all day. Sonic mostly. I've been getting an urge to draw the characters a lot lately, and I seem to have improved. He's fun to draw once you get used to it =D It's somewhat affected my Yoshis, actually, harhar.

I didn't even type what happened to me two days ago. We went to a potluck at my little sister's school. God I love potlucks. We brought sugar crepes and man they flew out fast! I went ahead and had pizza, some sort of sausage and meatballs, noodles, and for desert, just about everything on the table. I LOVE potlucks!! You get to eat so much different stuff Last night's dream consisted of a type of baseball game between a whole lot of teams. Each losing team lost a few members of their team, and when they got too small, they re-united with another team. Then there was a lot of fighting and I got to do some 3d platforming. There was land floating in places, each with their own gravity. You could travel on their undersides...and...yeah, it was pretty fun. Last I remember we were crossing the US to get to California using a route way up North. I wanted to take the Southern route so we copuld stop at Vegas, but no one listened... so we went ahead and took a train to CA. Then my dream ended...

At about five, we left to have a great Chinese food dinner. Harmless, right?
Wrong. We found ourselves in the middle of a dust storm and almost crashed because we couldn't see anything. Then, by the time we got to the restaurant, it was starting to rain. After our meal (which was probably the most peaceful thing that happened tonight), it was pouring. Bad. We wound up in my old neighborhood, and had to stop at a friend's house. I'm surprised she still lives there, heheh. So, we stayed there for about half an hour until the rain cleared up and we could actually see. The road was flooded, so we stuck to the middle. Then, our tire sprung a leak in the middle of the road and we had to pull over to a grubby little store nearby. They were pretty nice, though, and gave my dad a plastic sheet to lay on while he replaced the flat. Fifteen minutes after we got the too-small tire in, we got home, haha. D=

Well last night I saw this again so I decided to investigate, it went something like this:
Me: Computer what is "happy hardcore"?
Computer: Happy hardcore is a form of dance music typified by a very fast BPM (usually around 165-180), often coupled with male or female vocals, and saccharine lyrics. Its characteristically 4/4 beat "happy" sound distinguishes it from most other forms of breakbeat hardcore, which tend to be darker.
Me: Ok, any examples of this?
Computer: Affirmative.
Me: Play it.
At that point I almost fell out of my chair because it was so fast and so loud (because the speakers were turned way up)
Me: Computer stop playback!
The music seemed to continue to bounce around in my head after it stopped, and it didn't make my headache feel any better. I decided to try it again in the morning and now I love it!

Today me and my brothers went out to our pasture and did some Skeet Shooting. I did pretty well, I love shooting 20 gauge shotguns. XD One funny thing did happen...my older brother happened to see a dove perched on our chicken pen. Then it started to fly away, then my brother pulled out his 12 gauge pump shotgun and shot the dove. It was awesome!! After that we continued skeet shooting then he cleaned the dove.
Tomarrow mornin me and my brothers are goin dove huntin'. XD

Guess what I got for my birthday?
I got an iPod Nano. Now I can take my Sonic Adventure 2 soundtrack everywhere I go! =B
I also got Flash with a load of other crap on the same disk. And I got my 3-D modeling program I use at school, so expect some of that from me someday.
And then I got an iDog from my friend. I had been talking about that "i-Thing" trend with my dad earlier today, and I laughed so hard when I got it.

Oh dear, I'm afraid I've never been an IPod fan. My MP3 player I use now works juuuust fine. Though I do need to get "a load of other crap" onto a disk to bring home... notably that flash program...
Anyhow, today went rather well. Didn't do the usual two mile run, but heck.
My sister went to a parade and gave out candy while riding on the floats. She had fun doing that while we went to the driving range and hit a few balls. I love whacking things a mile, but you can't put any fury into your shot... because then you miss. Tried two wild swings with plenty of speed and I felt like I almost flew off the platform...
Later we went to a barbecue and had plenty of fun there. They're Italian, and we're French... so there was a lot of talk about the Fifa World Cup. Soccer was brought up a LOT during the conversations. In fact, my brother even told me that the soccer try-outs were going on right now, but he could get us a place on the try outs if he talked to the coach. My brother's friends with EVERYONE, trust me.
Well I run 2 miles every so often, and I've proven that I can do a 6:29 mile (second best in class... best guy was just out of my reach at 6:26), I reckon I could try out for soccer.
Just hope I don't mess up... I've never actually played a whole lot XD

Don't buy an Alienware one unless you want to spend a lot of unneccessary money.

Last night's dream...
I remember something about travelling a lot with my dad and another family that came along with us. On the road, I played some sort of yoshi's island game... and it was quite entertaining until I completed the game. You couldn't even select the past levels once you finished it. There was a bug in the game and it allowed me to repeat all the levels if I wanted.
For some reason, I ended up on a skyscraper in a rich guy's office. He had an aquarium with two goldfish in it, and then he added a third gold fish. Instantly, the first two were fighting over the third. Heh heh...
Then we noticed more aquariums and more fish who wanted to escape. They were being tortured day in day out, and wanted freedom. At the roof of the office was a sewer pipe, which would circle and circle around the building until it reached the sewers. It had plenty of openings and it was just a maze. All the fish transformed into remote controlled cars (without the remote) and we all went down the pipe. All we had to do was follow the water until we hit the bottom (where the water came from since we started at the very top with it, I don't know). Unfortunately, the boss noticed us missing and made other cars who worked for him go down. Every time one of us were tagged, we had to go back up, tagging any teammates on the way to make them go back up. Well... we managed to descend three of fifty stories. Them my mother and step-father appeared in their car and offered to drive me and some others off. I accepted and brought whoever wanted to go (the others thought since they were tagged they had to go back up). Then we drove off and went to the beach.
~~~
Well today I'll be at a soccer fest... and I hope my brother holds his promise that he's going to show me where the try-outs are.
Meep, my school years starts tomorrow. GCSE exams this year, joy. Probably means I'll have all my time taken up through homework, coursework and revision, but then again, I never really do that much anyways.
I am so incredibly lucky to be typing this at the moment.
Lately, my ISP must be having issues or something with me being online at around 8:00, because I cannot seem to get a halfway reliable connection at that time. I have no clue what is going on, whether it be from my ISP, my modem, or the access points. But I do know this: this will become an issue come when it's time for school and this general time is the only time I can get on the Internet at home. My school blocks this forum at their facility; I don't have enough time during school to be here anyway.
Thus, I have no clue of what my immediate future of my online availability during New York time evening hours will be.
I wish I had broadband...
