Something has to be done. They are slowly killing these boards. They just won't stop posting random pointless topics and its driving me insane. Any suggestions?

Well, the newbies aren't the only problem in this board. Whenever the Administration is needed, they are never around or are unwilling to help, that's another issue in this board.
If it bugs you, then ignore their SPAM, that's the best thing to do, if it gets too extreme, then I think someone needs to speak to them directly.
