Sorry, Tim, but people were going to ask questions sooner or later Anyways, here's the thing. Me and Timmy here made a bet - I'm not going to tell you what it was - and if he lost, he had to fork over YC to Yours Truly. Well, sorta. I guess that part didn't happen because I guess there isn't a way to literally give owner rights to someone else, so I got the next best thing.

I knoooow, I don't post here as often as some members who are probably more deserving of Adminship than I ever will be. Honestly, I really REALLY didn't expect him to follow through on his word XD Surprised me just as much as you.

Let's get some other things straightened out, though. No, I am not going to destroy all of YC as you know it. No, this isn't a hostile take over LEVEL UP ! ! And there has been no "l33t h@xx0ring" involved. And things are probably gonna be pretty much the same. I'd gladly help run the forum with you guys, I've had admining experience before at Lemmy's Land, if any of you know what that is.

If I think of anything else to say related to this, I'll post it here.

Well, I guess now that you are the new staff member here, and since it seems that Tim trusts you a lot to be an administrator on his board, I would trust that you would do good things for this board, and keep it in great shape. I hope that you will be a great administrator, and that you will handle your new responsibility greatly.

If Tim is irresponsible enough to admin someone on a bet... Well, let's just say I wouldn't trust him with an admin position at any of the boards I moderate/admin. Especially based on a lot of behaviors and several things about his attitude I've taken note of.

Oh, and Strangie, I'm not going to beat you with a baseball bat. LEVEL UP ! ! Not your fault you got admined on a bet you didn't think Tim would go through with. So, have fun as an admin and so forth. Doesn't seem like you'd be the kind of person to destroy YC, anyway.

Yeah, I noticed Tim acted...weird, no offense Tim, but some of the stuff I heard is not too... ...bright or right.

You know why we don't trust you? Because you would gamble leadership of the place we all love. I'm just glad Strangie's a good responsible person, there are plenty of people on this board I would NOT want to be an admin. And now, I don't trust you, because you go and do something so irresponsible with something so many of us hold dear. Too bad Proboards doesn't have some sort of impeachment system.

Or we could just keep dragging this out, when the point is pretty much taken as it is. Or we could just be glad that Strangie has an admin position. While I don't condone to what was done, anything I say can't change the factor that it was done. Because what's in the past is in the past, the things that were said and completed can not be altered nor change. A choice was made, and it was a choice placed into action and compiled to come for a finish. Trust can be lost, but everything has a consequence. The very fact that we all take steps and do things everyday has a consequence. While not all actions seem to be trustworthy, there is a reason why every man has a soul, and why every man has his own morals and beliefs. There is also a reason why the man has a voice, a voice to fight back. But as it is, no reason to go off on a tangent here. What is, is; and if you thought you saw it, then you saw it. I don't want anyone getting in trouble, so seriously.

Though, Strangie I am glad to see you in this position, and it's a great touch. You're a trustworthy guy and I wish you the best of luck with your position.

Strangie's cool and I trust him, so I'm all good for this... "appointment." It's just the principle of the situation. The fact that Tim gambled off the highest staff position of this forum, especially without any sort of notice to anybody at all. Nice way to get everyone to trust you even more, buddy. ;D

When you're the root admin, you don't just 'gamble' your powers, without expecting everyone here to be upset. Everyone here absolutely adores the forum, and just putting your position (Which includes the little "Delete board" button) upto another forumer (Which is trustworthy, don't get me wrong, Strangies a nice bloke) is something the visitors won't be happy about.

Look at it this way, Being an administrator of your board, would you approve of me gambling my position(Which I've been trusted to) to someone else who wouldn't've been so trustworthy? I know you wouldn't approve of it in the slightest, and would there be any chance of me getting my position back? No, since you will have lost the trust in me you had when I was first entrusted with the position.

See why everyone's upset?

When you appoint someone a position at a forum, you do it because you trust that person with the powers to look after the board. Thankfully, you did a deal with strangie, and not someone else who may have done everything they could've done to destroy the board.

If you had been the visitor to a board for a good year and more, you'd develop a lot of trust and respect in the staff. What would you do, if you found the root admin had given his position to someone else who wasn't so trustworthy? Would you leave or stay and argue about how silly it was? If you don't trust the staff of a forum, you don't often stay.

Again, this was in no way meant to be against Strangie. As I've already said, Strangie's a nice and a trustworthy bloke.

Wow, I love it that it took an action like THIS for all you to finally see how 'immature' and 'irresponsible' Tim has been. Has he really ever NOT been these things? Gambling with the boads, and now reacting like this. You can't just tell us to stop whining, Tim. This is a message board. We have a right to voice our opinions.

Reminds me of a couple weeks ago, in an MSN conversation, Tim threatened to demote me from a moderator because I told him that he does nothing for Yoshi's Corner anymore, which is true. He claims that he's the most important member because he created this board. We appreciate that, of course, but now we've grown past him, is this agreed? It's just another example of how Tim tries to silence anyone who doesn't agree with him.

Oh right, and than he threatened to DELETE the boards because he wasn't in the header that we made for the boards. Yes, that's right, DELETE the boards because he wasn't in the spotlight. He doesn't even come here anymore to post, and he admitted to me that he does not love Yoshi anymore. Why does he deserve the spotlight? In my opinion, he just loves the attention, which he absolutely does not deserve at this point.

Just my two cents.

PS - I unlocked this with Strangie's permission. Let's not try to stifle opinions here, right? BTW, congrats Strangie. I'm glad you got the position and not some other whackjob. ;D

Wow, this is just ... amazing. I can't believe our board is being treated like a die (the singular tense for dice, you know, the things used for gambling). Strangie is an awesome person and everything, but how many people is Tim going to make Admins by playing these games. This is not looking good, our Administration is far too large and can create a mass amount of chaos with so many people have power and different ways of thinking, I mean even before we had issues compromising, we don't need to add on to it...
