It has come to a few of us members' attention that the upgrade coming up will take away anyone that is under the age of 13, I quote...
"Birthday will become a required field in the profile. As we do not allow users under the age of 13, an age check will be in place which will remove accounts of users under this age."
This isn't fun, there are a great few of people on here that are really good members and are in that age range, and it'd be a shame to see their accounts removed thanks to this, so young ones, if you don't want your accounts taken away, raise that age of yours, you young ones may not be over 13, but it'll be a crying shame to lose you guys, and heck, most act over their age anyway and have done nothing wrong in this place if you ask me.

"...And when duplicity is called for, we'll be knaves."
The best alternative is to change your birthday year so that it will be 13+ ASAP. At least until the full admins find a way around it.

its a shame that many of the admins arent very active anymore. im glad im 14 at this moment.
i notice that alot of these "youngsters" put silly things for their age, it says that they are 31,456 years old sometimes. those who didnt do that, change your age or else its asta for you!

Hum, I just turned 13, so I barely will make it out safely without lying about my age.
lol, a long time ago I set my age to something like that on a forum I used to be active on, just to see if anyone would notice.

heh. On that account I had at the old board I used to go to I had my age the exact same as the current year. And, yes, Teo is 12 so he better read this.

its nothing to do with whther or not you did anything wrong... its happening all over every Proboards, er... board
As far as I know, theres some law, or guideline or something that doesn't let people under 13 use messageboards, or some thing like that.. not sure of the specifics
I noticed that a few other forums will refuse registration if you put your age as under 13...

sounds like its a system wide deletion of accounts, for everyone under 13.
Either change now, or wake up to a deleted account...

I think The upgrade session is long because the Webmaster have to backup all database and try to upgrade all files (not like phpBB, it takes 2 minutes to updrade!) so wm will have to copy all users and all data but will copy only who is over 13.
I'm not sure is it correct
and i find a line says "If a user creates an account with the same username as someone who was deleted, the new user will not be able to edit or delete the older users posts. This will be based on a registration date check versus the time of the posting."
So the user that have been deleted, his/her post may still there!

Not for thailand, Thailand dont have coppa, i think so anyone from any age can use hotmail (not only 13+)

Still though, its not hard for an 11 year old to click the "I am 13 or older" box...

So the 13-or-older thing had pretty much no effect and was a waste of time, except for the people that are honest and got kicked off
