The problem arises when you say an anime forum - anime spans across a whole heap of subjects. Art, manga, fanfiction, cosplaying, cons - making one forum for it would only lead to more sub-boards branching off of it, and really...there are plenty of other anime themed boards out there for that kind of subject.
This is a Yoshi board, and I think the key to our success is that it is kept around that theme.

if we dont make such a big deal out of it, i dont see what the problem is since there already is a pokemon forum. i guess an anime forum would over-write pokemon though...

not exactly what i was getting at. anime would overwrite pokemon possibly, making it so that pokemon topics would be posted under the anime section.

but what about the shows? and the artwork? if it were just a gaming pokemon forum, it would be no problem. theres other topics mixed in though.

I like Animes.
I think here, in germany are other animes than in your country. By the way, I don´t even know if this board is britic or american. But i love Pokemon and Detective Conan. Do You know Detective Conan?
