Iwouldn't really think this is necessary, if you want someones Email of messneger addy, you can just go to there profile, if there details are hidden, then it's for a reason...
Also I don't like publicly displaying my messenger details, it runs less of a risk of getting some wierdo adding me to their contacts list and trying to get me into some sort of BowserxMario cult D:

Yeah, I'll second that. You fill out those fields in your profile for a reason. No reason to display your MSN e-mail twice. I also tend to keep most of my communication to IRC (come on people, get on #yc!), so I only really add people on MSN if it's for a file transfer, or for someone who doesn't use IRC.

Well if you want to talk to people then go right ahead and begin conversation.
People who would care enough to post in a thread like this usually already have that contact information stored in their profiles. Check their profiles for whatever programs you are looking for. Most people won't mind if you drop them a line.
Keeping that in mind, a thread like this just doesn't seem necessary.
