Ditto Nintendo DS could had been a possibility since it will be out soon.. but that's not the case over here in the UK >_< Gotta wait 'til late spring/early summer next year.. too long a wait.. Just import it if you're that impatient. I think I could be getting a Nintendo DS...Not too sure, though. Maybe Christmas money?

Babybowser: Shouldn't you have left this topic for at least another month? Christmas is still a bit too far off to think about.. Thank you for proving that I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I think there is... if you're making your list in April (yes, I do know someone who has done this, and no, it wasn't me.) then you're standing on your head juggling bombs with your bare feet on the edge of sanity.

Funny you should mention that. I'm suspicious about my main GBA SP's battery. It doesn't seem to be lasting as long as it should. I have a 2nd, newer GBA SP so I'll probably swap the batteries. ...why don't I just use the newer one? Well, its apparently faulty. The screen has a pink tint and isn't two tiny white bars at the top of the image. And I don't have a receipt since it was from Ebay back in May.
Rechargable batteries are funny things. If you don't 'cycle' them often (fully charged, fully discharged) they can effectivly die. The battery in a GBA SP will probably only last for an hour or two if it isn't used for say a year. And thats when its fully charged. ie, the battery will always run out of juice after only a couple of hours.
To get the longest life out of your GBA SP batter, leave it switched on overnight once a week to completely drain the battery. Then charge it up.
I haven't been doing this. Poor thing has been overlooked since January, so that's probably why I have a problem. Lessons learnt.
And don't put it on charge if the red light isn't on. If it doesn't need charging, don't leave it on charge. That also shortens the battery life.

Well it looks like my trusty online import dealer had them in stock now that I checked, so I pre-ordered an import Should be getting it in about a month from now.. For other people in the UK who may consider importing one (or any other videogame-related stuff) over the net, here's the website to go to: www.importmadness.co.ukAnd I've used this site before.. imported like 4 American GC games before and I had no probs with them or anything, so I think it's safe to say that you can trust them. And BryUK: It has no reigonal or territorial lockouts according to info I found lately, so it's safe to import and buy local games later on for it

In all honesty, I have absolutely no interest in the DS whatsoever. In fact, I have absolutely no interest in any games/consoles/whatever that are coming out anytime soon, minus maybe FF1/2 and that new Zelda game... other than that, Gaming's seriously taken a huge decline with me... Not because I don't like gaming anymore, just because I don't like the turn modern gaming has taken... at all.
