Because the one I'm stuck with now sucks ass. I tried drawing this character from this thing called "Simucon", but since I'm stuck with this pencil I have left, it came out like crap: img67.exs.cx/img67/4193/omfgsux.gifI'll probaly get another one tommorrow or somthin.

There was this thing I brought once, and it was called a sharpener. o.O
Anywho, this is really good, dragon-art is always good. n.n
It appears that the paper that you are using is pretty rough, did you get it out of a cartridge sketch book?
If you want something a little smoother, you could go with Bristol or just plain printer paper.
And, if your lazy, like me, you can always use a mechanical pencil. You can't go wrong with those, considering that they use a .05 lead instead of a regular pencil lead. Best of all, you don't sharpen them - they do it themselves.

Don't worry about it. I draw as messy as you do . But if you're able to color it on the computer, then that's all that counts.

Hey, that's pretty cool, reminds me of a dragon. Eh, as for the pencil, at least it gave good shading.
