 I felt like trying to draw Graedius. I ended up loving and hating this drawing several times over before I finally finished it. And even then I couldn't think of a background. Oh, and special thanks to Marth for posing for me.  |

Ooooooh snap!! Another Graedius drawing. That makes how many now? Like around 6 or 7. Dang, Graedius must've feel extra special now  . Anyway, that's an awesome drawing! I like the lighting effects, and how it's under the hat and gives much roundness to the nose. However, I think you forgot his shoulder, heh. I guess the sword seems a bit arbitrary, but I just know he'll love this! ;D |

Wow, great drawing! I like it, it kind of looks like a character you could play as on a SSB game. Really good job, just one question. Did you draw the sword using perspective, to make it look it was being pointed closer to the viewer, or does it start narrow at the handle and get wider as it goes to the point. I think it looks more like perspective, Gradius should like this!

 SKILL! Wow, I wasn't expecting this at all. Again, as per usual, your art is skilled beyond standard measure, Fifth. Ooh, I likes it all!! I see you gave me the ringed-tail that this sprite set currently lacks... Hahah. I know non-Yoshis aren't your standard bit, and I must say you did this very well. Mreowr, hey, thats pretty neat-lookin'. n_n Some of the light is a little...far off in some places (i.e, across his chest but not on his closest shoulder) but its a great pic, and I think you did a gewd job. *claps*
Ack, I need to resort to ol' opacity shading again....>_@

Yeah, I noticed the problems with the shading on his arm... I tried fixing it but just ended up making it worse, so I just left it. I just couldn't see it, I guess.
I hope I didn't go overboard with the lighting/shading.. I know confident shading can bring a piece to life, but when it looks off... it looks off.
Anyway, I'm glad you like it Graedius! ;D
I've been wanting to draw you for a while now, but couldn't come up with anything.
