I had it since the day before yesterday, only I haven't been able to play it because my Gamecube is having problems. I only got to play the beginning, up to where you meet Goombella and the professor.

Could be worse. I remember when the gap between US and EU releases was more like 4-6 months on average. And in some cases, much more. Pokémon Red and Blue took nearly a year to cross the Atlantic. Then the was the cases where these games never made it to Europe at all like the original Mario RPG. Atleast there is only a one month gap (sometimes much less like most of the Zelda titles) and it'll be a proper PAL conversion. Maybe 60Hz mode.

Yeah, there is that...
At least when we got Metroid Prime they made it a bit harder and fixed some of the bugs in it.

Not always the same thing When Mario Kart 64 was released in Europe, the initial version had a bug that caused the game to completely lock up/crash at random in multiplayer (like one out of every fifteen matches). Something you really did NOT want to see when in a fevered battle mode. Nintendo put out a press release and a phone number. You just called them up and they came to collect your cartridge and give you a brand new one that didn't lock up for no charge at all. Still, would have been better if the game didn't have such a serious bug in the first place.

UK release date is currently 12th of November. As a side note, so far the European name hasn't changed from Paper Mario 2.

I prefer the name to be "Paper Mario 2" rather than "Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door" Anyone else?

I prefer the name to be "Paper Mario 2" rather than "Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door" Anyone else? Agreed. I don't see why it was necessary to change it. As for me, I already have it and it seems spiffy. Only complaint I have is when I do the action command for the jump attack. It's hard to execute for me. ;-;

I prefer the name to be "Paper Mario 2" rather than "Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door" Anyone else? I prefer calling it PaerMario2 too, but the added name in fine with me. I'll still just refer to it as PaperMario2. The title just gives a little more insight to the game.
