When I click on the link for the roms on this site, it opens it in a new window as text and freezes the program. I'm using an iMac with OSX. I did get the emulators and Super Smash Brothers as well as Zelda for 64 ones, but no other ones work.

OSX, I can only dream of having a computer capable of running Mac OSX.
The emulators might not be compatible with Mac OSX. Also, It looks as though yoshiart.com's facing troubles at the moment because It won't come up so I can't check. I'm just getting a blank screen. Title appears though...
There are other versions of emu's out there that are Mac 10 compatible.
I take it you're using a Browser called 'Safari'? I hear of a better one called 'Kenya'. I think that's what he said anyway. I'll have to confirm that...

The 64 ROM "Yoshi's Story" is corrupted, if that helps any.
I have two N64 Emulators, both complained that YS was "unrecognisable" when I attempted to run it.
My computer's OS is Win LEVEL UP ! !, so I don't get it. o.O
All of the ZSNES files are in good order though, they all seem to respond perfectly. ^^;;

I know, I can't run the Emulators on the iMac, but they work fine at home on my Windows systems. I guess I can't get the SNES roms on the iMac. That doesn't mean I won't try though!

I happen to be running an iBook with OS X, and the roms don't quite work well with Safari, is there any way to fix it so I don't have to gi on the b*stard known as IE?

You having trouble downloading them? I think there may be a MacOS version of Mozilla. Check out www.mozilla.org. Have a look for another browser. IE is a pain on MacOSX.

This has to do with the way the roms are delivered. I haven't optimized the php rom download script (getrom.php) to work under Mac OS X mainly because I don't have access to a computer with this OS; If I did, I could be able to test any new modifications. The php script is necessary, its purpose is to prevent direct-linking. Your program freezes because it loads the rom as if it were text, and thus overwhelms your computer's RAM. The problem is that the browser is ignoring the content-type instruction given by the php script. The script tells it that it is a Zip file, but your browser thinks it's text/html. Try using a different browser like FireFox. What about Basilisk? Please inform me about any issues with the site. This way I'll know something's wrong (Can't check my site 24/7...). Try to write down the exact time at which the problem occurs. This would help greatly! It's not corrupted, the problem is that no emulator that can run it has been made yet. But there is an emulator called Nemu that can run the entire intro, provided that you use the Japanese version of the game. (let me know if you want it ) As well, if any of you needs a particular N64 rom, I can help you get it. Just let me know! I have 3.5 GB worth of N64 roms here.

Already tried, lol. Only run's upto MacOS 8.1.
Exactly the same time as I posted, and the screen just came up white. The title came up correctly but nothing else came up.
And I thought I was being dumb and not loading it properly...

I was just going to say, because it wouldn't play with their player, I do have Nemu08 and Project 64.
If you do have a version of Yoshi's Story or Paper Mario that can be run by either of my players, then that would be really cool. ^^

PearPC: pearpc.sourceforge.net/CherryOS cherryos.com/For those of you interested in OS X emulation. Note: CherryOS is temprarily down, but PearPC is up and going! Note2: Mac OS X CD's are required, nut there ARE places online where you can get them.

Emulators- www.emulation.net Simple huh? Whole site's designed specifically for Macs. I dunno if they have N64 stuff, but they got every other emulator one could possibly want there.

Paper Mario shouldn't be a problem, I've had that running in Project 64 without problems. Well, graphical issues but that seems to be because no N64 emulators have focused on working with sprites. Probably why Yoshi's Story has so many problems.
