Personally, I can't say I do miss them. XD I remembered them being a lot better then they really are. Cheaply made, badly drawn/animated (for a professional cartoon) and just all over the place. The colour pallette changes considerably in almost every shot.
If I was to talk of a good Mario cartoon, it would be the CG opening movie of Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. Even if that is really more of a Wario/Waluigi show.

In the last pic, Yoshi is spitting Mario out of his mouth, but it looks more like Mario is in a Yoshi costume. XD

omg, a little less typing that I won't have to do... Same opinion here! Yeah but the kids love 'em ...But there are a couple scenes that are good... like when Yoshi says "No! But Yoshi thought, OOOUFF!" in "A little learning" ^^! I love that one. But yes, a big part of the episodes are of horrid quality... Hey! An intriguing question! What would the SMW episodes have looked like if they had been made in Japan? Truly interesting hmm?? I think I would've fainted from the awesomeness... ;D! Indeed! I have downloaded all the episodes. Sorry for the delay in replying, this has been a busy week; I can reply to emails/threads/pm's/whatever only during weekends now... =s And thank you!! ;D ;D ;D

I managed to get "A little learning", but there's no picture, only sound. Is the file corrupt or do I need a special media player? It doesn't work with WMP, DivX or Winamp.

If they'd been made in Japan, the safest bet is that the gang would look just like the official art and would always be in proportion. We would have also had the Bowser look instead of the Koopa look (though I never figured out how the US decided to use the Japanese name with the US version of the character. Though SMB3 and SMW improved graphics made it very plain that the US animated King Koopa and the ingame/Japanese Koopa/Bowser were very different looking indeed) Anyways, the Koopa Kids would have probably benefited most. ANYWAY, righty, since those eps can go offline now... hmm... what to go in their place... Oh, I know... Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour opening www.x-plane.org/users/ukguybry/mario%20golf.zip

DarkMark,
It should work with WMP. What is your player's version? (I'm assuming you downloaded the episode off my site). I tested it in WMP 7 and in WMP 9, no problems found. Is this the only video you can't see? Can you see any other wmv videos, or any other episodes from my site?

This has happened before with other SMW episodes and other .wmv files... only picture, no sound, but the file is definately full-sized. And I have WMP version 7-ish. It's something like 7.0.0.1. What's the newest version?

Like I said, have you got the latest codecs from Microsoft? This is a really common issue with people who don't keep everything up to date. The videos are encoded with the latest codecs and you need the latest ones to decode and watch them. Its that simple.
If you haven't already, check the link I posted at the top of this page and download the appropriate codecs package from the Microsoft website.
