Chapter 1
Life in war is hard...
Everyday...every moment of your life...
You take none of it for granted...
Anyone will do anything to survive...
The question isn't if you will do something..
It's if you can...
War is a shadow in the dark...
You can deny it's existence for a while...
But it grows...gathers...untill it cannot be ignored...
You can try and flee...but it will only buy you so little time...
The only thing to do is stop it...
It takes more than strength to fight...
It takes a soul...
Selcathy stood outside the inn. It was closed for then night. The clouds above sent rain pelting down on the world below. Suddenly he saw a man. He was running down the beaten road, with a scroll in his hand. Probably another messenger. They where all to common now days.
The rain did not stop it's onslaught. Selcathy pulled his cloak tight around himself. It was going to be a long night...
