Okay, I've been wanting to do this for a while, but now I've got a chance to post this. I want to do a Tetris Attack tourney with a bunch of people, but I want to know if it's a good idea or not. I vote yes. Will I participate? No. Why? I hardly know how to play XD. I suck that bad. I mean, for the longest time, I thought there's a way you can switch blocks vertically, but I never knew how you could do that. Hahah.

Sounds good, but my previous experiences of playing via a 56k modem have not been good. Last time I tried, major lag popped up and... well... both players won. Yeah.

Wow, this generated a better response than I thought. Excellent. If you guys want to join, be sure you get the goods from me if you don't have them already (you also need Direct X, as pinkfloydyoshi pointed out in an LJ comment - the link for it is on the LJ entry).
And so what if you suck? It's all just for fun. It's not like... you're gonna be the laughing stock of the internet because you lost in the first round match ups or something... or losing is punishable by death or something LEVEL UP ! !

I did it to someone I beat on halo, after he wouldn't admit he was losing and took the "If I don't win, no-one does" approach and pulling out his phoneline. If you're used to losing, well, it's not so bad, no-body's perfect. I know i'm not. As far as DirectX goes, ZSnes will work from DirectX 8.1. This (or a higher version) is included with most games and does not need downloading, but the most recent build is 9.0c. Links up in his LJ. |

Well, hopefully people aren't gonna be that cruel to put something like that in their sign-in. I'm going to prefer people that I've actually heard of before over people who I've never heard of before in my LIFE, so in the case of too many people signing up I'll cut the more unfamiliar people out to avoid problems and leave the trustworthy guys in...
UPDATE: I want all people who are interested in joining the tourney to E-mail me at strangeone160@yahoo.com with the subject line "Strangie's TA Tourney", along with your AIM/MSN/YIM in the body so I can contact you! This way I can keep track of how many people are joining a lot easier.

Okay, quick update - Sign ups... not gonna be this coming weekend, because I have stuff to do then, but by the end of the month sign ups should be out of the way and we can get to business, alright? Oh yes, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have the 16 people minimum for this... so, hang in there.
