It could be called manga or anime :3 Anime is the animated version and manga is the comic version, but the style is generally called anime in places like deviantArt (personally, i don't know why they just don't call it a Japanese style). LEVEL UP ! !
And aw, poor little kitten's probably just scared! n_n;
