Remember the Hammer brothers from the old Super Mario Bros. series? Everyone almost forgot about them. But the thing is, not just Hammer Brothers exists but also boomerang brothers and fireball brothers. Not to mention sumo brothers. If you get a chance to create another hammer brothers related character, what would it be? I would create Shuriken Borthers.

I wouldn't consider them quite so forgotten. Hammer Bros. have been in both Paper Mario and its sequel, and even the Boomerang Bros. made their way into Mario and Luigi.
But that's not the point here.
Hmm... I suppose you could have a bomb-throwing one, but then you might as well use Mouser.
It might be interesting to have one throw a bunch of other enemies... like, um, Ninjis? Maybe not... Spineys? Wait, that's Lakitu...
Okay, so I don't have any good ideas.

The Bros have made a comeback as of late, with the Hammer, Fire and Boomerang trio being in Paper Mario 2. Though the design of the Hammer Bros has been different in just about every single game.
Mario & Luigi introduced a few new ones. The Chomp Bro and a few others I don't recall off hand.

Really? All I remember from Mario 3 is hammer, boomerang, fireball and sledge. I don't remember them having shuriken.
