For one of my favorite things to draw, I've not draw it in quite some time. I drew this last week and forgot to post it here. I drew this up during a lazy class period or two in school one day. *sigh* Why is it always on notebook paper? But anyways, ladies and gentelmen I present to you the R.M.S. Olympic (AKA Old Reliable). HmmmmLook familiar to anyone? It's the older sister ship of the Titanic. This was the only one of the three Olympic Class Liners (Olympic, Titanic, and Britannic) to not sink, just felt like sharing that. XD Actually, this is the first pic I've draw of a ship, using a vanish point. I never did it before cause it just got in the way. The old ones looks great, but this fades properly, so it's cool. XD What are your thoughts? Any critique?

Oooh, pretty. I like those hexagons. The perspective is brilliant, and I like how it's in blac-and-white, giving it an older feel. The smoke effect is cool, too. The proportions and detail are right-on with your ship, as always.
The front of the ship being completely alligned with the blue line makes the front look flat, though. And the water trailing off the boat looks... not ripple-y enough. Only one side seems to be causing the water to come off in waves at the front.

Well, the front of the ship is flat, it doesn't angle at all, a dead 90 degree angle with the water (if thats what you were talking about). But yeah, about the water being not ripple-y enough, I see that now. I'll need to spend more time practicing on how the water runs off the front of the ship. Oh, and the water not being present on the other side, I'll need to work on that too. XD Thanks!

Nah, I meant flat compared to the rest of the boat. See how the other side kind of comes out of nowhere, then disappears again? All on that same blue line. It doesn't seem curved enough compared to the rest of the boat.

Oh, okay, I think I see what you mean now. Yeah, in this case I think I left the other side exposed a little too much. That kinda makes it look like it should be a more head on view. Since the other side doesn't agree, it looks kinda flat n' stuff.

I love the perspective there. I forgot there were two others...White Star Line...ahh History Channel =3 Didn't one get sunk by a torpedo? Something about it being turned into a hospital ship, the Britanic I think. Some controversy surrounding it.

Construction on the Britannic started in 1911 but soon before it was completed the first world war broke out and White Star was forced to turn it into a war ship. It was converted into a hospitla ship for service and became known H.M.H.S. (His Majestie's Hospital Ship) Britannic. When sailing in the Mediterranean Sea, the ship hit an underwater mine and sunk just off the coast of the island of Kea. Thanks!
