Hmmm, look at my latest pic!
The other day, I started to play the older FF games again. I wanted to draw a chocobo, but the sudden onrush of needing to draw pokemon took me over. Now that my pokemon drawing phase has stopped for the time, I finally drew a chocobo. Enjoy the cuteness...



Critique is welcome. What are your thoughts?

I like the background, and all the feathers you put on him.
The coloring and shading job was well done, too. That bandana is awesome.

Because of the way you did the highlights, his eyes look half cut-off, though. Try to make them smaller and more circular. Also, his back toe's outline comes in front of his leg, making it look kind of funny. The back of the leg should be in front of his back toe/talon/whatever.

Don't think I've ever seen a Chocobo...but this one looks uber-cute! You seem to have quite the nack at shading and sketching things out. Gratulations on your totally pwnsome Chocobo!

*looks at pic* Man, did the change from a .psp file to a .jpg file really mess up the picture this time. *sigh* I just noticed this! XD

The yellow is really bright, though, so it's hard to make out the lineart. It might just be this new monitor, though. D:

I love chocobos! they are one of the superb Square-Enix characters ^^. Your picture represents them in a very awesome way too!

The eyes look a bit strange, thats all I can critique with.
