I'm actually considerably proud of the way that this one turned out. This started off as a simple sketch from boredom, but I worked off of it and played around in Photoshop, and viola, this came as the result.

And yes, my ship can fly, it's wings are retractable from a metal shaft below the man deck, as visibly shown.

So yes, most of this was playing around with the Pen tool. I'm slowly getting the gang of it, but I still have quite a while to go before I produce anything too substantail with it. I also tried scattering and threw in some background effects. I don't really know what those are, but they looked cool, so I decided to keep them in anyway XD. Not too proud of the clouds, though, I still can't those right just yet. Blast, I'll have to pratice with those before I can get it right.

So yes, just randomness in the form of a picture.

I like all the pretty effects you used; well done on those. The large star in the background and the sparklies coming off the ship were done nicely.

That mainsail looks a little thin, though.

That background is very beautiful! It remindes me of a cloudy night I had over here a few weeks ago. The clouds in this pic seem very realistic and the stars are also very nice. I also like how detailed you made the ship. *sigh* I wish I could draw caravel style ships as well as you.
