Wow, it's been a while since I last posted art huh? Well sorry about that, it's just that I've been pretty caught up in things, and I didn't decide to scan this thing right away. In fact, it took a while to finish the sketch, and it took another while to get the motivation to finish. But I did finish and all.
Ah yes, it's Bub from the Bubble Bobble and Puzzle Bobble (or Bust-a-Move) games. Seeing as Bubble Bobble is one of my favorite old games EVER, I decided to draw him. Ah...yeah, it was one of my favorite games from my early childhood, and still is a favorite now. One time last year I even bought the GBA Bubble Bobble: Old and New game and relived memories. Though I've lost it now (and kinda wish I could play the game again...) I got to relive the fun times and even go farther and actually beat the game, on both sides of the game too. Ah yes...the memories...
I used an NES-era pic of him for the reference. Also, this is the very first drawing I've ever done in.....Photoshop! Yep, that's right, I got Photoshop now! It's a very awesome program, it takes a little getting used to, but it's pretty nice to use. Also, I experimented with the curve tool a little too, and the result looks pretty great IMO, seeing as the outline isn't as curvy as usual. Though, I think some of the proportions may be a tad bit off, then again, nobody's perfect I guess. But to me, I think I did a good job, and yeah...so, yeah, comment away and stuff!
