Click hereFinally...I actually completed a picture again! Whoo-hoo! About time too. I'd have worked on this a faster time, but a bunch of things got in the way. Like D&D sessions, superfast convos, all that. But over the course of this week I found some time to finally color this piece I sketched a few weeks back. This guy should be familiar to anyone who's played Yoshi's Island on the SNES. He's the boss of the castle at the end of World 4, of course. Hookbill, the large Koopa that always seems to have had way too many eggs to eat, and that has developed a pretty sensitive stomach that proves to be his downfall. XD Well you get the point. Well I experimented with shading as always. Not sure if I did a good job at it, but then again, shading's still not a very strong point for me. But it was pretty good to draw. Though...I'm not so good at drawing shell designs. XD All comments and constructive crit are welcome, as always.

yea. a little practice with the shading wouldn't hurt Despite the loss of my hand-eye coordination, I'm still pretty talented at painting words onto grains of rice.;. find out where the source of the light is coming from, and shade according to that =). great picture by the way, very clean, and i remember hookbill =D
