“You know what son, all my plan to stop Mario ... failed! I need to try a different approach. Something that will actually work.” Bowser pondered while his son was sitting right next to him. Junior wondered too as he sat, then came up with a wonderful idea. “You know that, maybe you got this capturing the helpless Princess the wrong way. Maybe it isn’t all about capturing the weak so you can attract the bait. I was thinking topsy-turvy. I was thinking, a bigger target.” Junior responded. “Like what? Answer that,” “Oh I was thinking Mario,” “Mario what?” “Kidnap Mario!” “How?” “Oh shut up, leave it to me. I have a plan.” Junior walked towards his dad and whispered his plan. Bowser smiled and began his laughter. Then stopped and began to question. “Hey, what about Luigi?” asked Bowser. “Oh, he’s no threat, but just in case, I’ll trap him.” Junior responded. That still did not satisfy old King Koopa. “Yes, but what about his friends. Let’s say for example, Yoshi. That meddling dinosaur always interferes with our affairs when there is trouble,” “You won’t need to worry about him either. I’ll make sure he gets what he deserves. I’ll call Kamek. He can handle Yoshi, I’m pretty sure of it.” Bowser at long last felt confident that his son’s plan will come together and work out,
Meanwhile, Kamek was on his way to Yoshi’s Island to do as told while Bowser and Jr. worked out their plans. Kamek arrived at Yoshi’s Island in no time at all to pay Yoshi a visit. “Hmm ... should I take the melon or the Super Happy Fruit? I’ll take both.” Said Yoshi as he was buying some special fruits from a merchant. Yoshi traded a watermelon and a coconut for the two items then was on his way. Upon his walk, he stumbled upon Kamek. “Aha! There you are Yoshi! Now I’ll make sure you don’t meddle with Lord Bowser’s affairs again,” said Kamek as he prepared a spell.
Yoshi thought fast and grabbed his Super Happy Fruit. He gobbled it up and became super charged. Yoshi then ran towards Kamek, grabbed his wand and broke it against the floor. Then he grabbed Kamek’s broom and dropped him on the floor. Then Yoshi threw him the melon he bought to slow Kamek down. “There, that should handle the old warlock. Now what is that nasty Bowser and his son up to now?” Yoshi asked as he stood near Kamek, who had a big lump on his head. “YOSHI!!!!!!” “Huh? Who said that?” Yoshi looked around and saw Princess Peach running towards him. She was running like a cheetah. “Oh, thank goodness I found you. What’s Kamek doing here? Never mind, listen, Mario and Luigi’s gone missing. I couldn’t find them anywhere! They left no note nor did anyone see them. I am very worried,” said Princess Peach as she was catching her breath. “Now calm down. They have to be somewhere. Come on; let’s go back to your castle. Let’s take lump head here with us.” Said Yoshi as he carried Kamek and ran to the Mushroom Kingdom.
“Ha ha ha! See dad, I told you this will work. At long last, Mr. Mario is captured!” yelled Junior. “That’s right son! You’re turning out just as brilliant as your father. Now we must make sure no one hears of this. We have to keep this a secret,” cautioned Bowser. They both fled the room and left Mario there tied to the chair. “Oh no! Now what am I going to do? I have to get out of-a here. Hoo, but how?” pondered Mario. Suddenly, the window slowly opened. It was Twink! “Hello Mario, it’s me Twink. I came by for a visit. Why are you tied up in a chair?” asked Twink. “Oh Twink, am I glad to see you. How are the Star Spirits doing? Listen, could you free me from this rope. It’s making marks in my arms.” “Yes, of course.” Twink unties the rope and Mario is now free to roam around the room. This will not help Mario much however. “Oh Twink, I am stuck here for who knows how long. I’m not sure if anyone knows I am missing.” Said Mario. “Oh, don’t worry Mario. I’ll let the others know. I’ll go get help. Just pretend you are still captured.” Said Twink as he left the room.
Twink hurried to the outside of the castle. Nearby was Kooper who could always come in and out as please for everyone will think he’s a minion. Twink alerts Kooper. “Kooper, Mario is captured by Bowser. Please, you must do something about it. Please go get help, we must rescue Mario.” Twink told Kooper. Kooper agreed and set off to find his friend to rescue Mario.
“Oh, this is terrible. Whatever could’ve happened to Mario? I am so worried,” cried Peach. “Don’t worry Peach, wherever Mario is, I’m sure he’s just fine. Let’s get lump head to talk.” Said Yoshi. Yoshi stood cross-armed at Kamek and Kamek stood up. “Talk you blue caped reptile. Where’s Mario?” demanded Yoshi. “I was ordered not to tell you. My lips are sealed.” Kamek responded. “Well then if you won’t talk, I’ll cram your mouth with exploding eggs. I’ll gobble you up and spit you out.” “And I’ll slap you until your face is black and blue!” Yoshi and Peach gave Kamek a mean look. “I don’t care what you do to me, I will not tell you that Bowser captured Mario and sealed him in a concealed room. And in addition, I will not tell you that Luigi is trapped in King Bowser’s bathtub. So humph!” Yoshi and Peach smiled to each other as Kamek realized he was tricked and groaned. “No Lord Bowser, I have failed you.” As Kamek talked, Yoshi and Peach threw him out of the second story window. Then Peach climbed on top of Yoshi, who stocked up on eggs, and left for Bowser’s Castle.
Bowser and Junior entered the room to pay a visit to Mario, just to torture him. “Huh? How did you escape your ropes? Doesn’t matter, no matter what you do, you’ll be stuck here forever! Bwa ha ha! Minions guard the door!” Bowser demanded. Junior had a bad feeling about this. “Dad I have a bad feeling about this. I feel something or someone knows of our plan.” “Why sure, our minions of course.” “No I mean, someone Mario knows.” “Oh, well don’t worry son, kids your age go through these problems all the time. You are just getting bad vibes. Now come on, let’s continue our plan to rule the Mushroom Kingdom!” concluded Bowser.

Looks like that old fat lizard is up to no good again. We gotta rescue our old pal Mario. I’ll deliver the letters immediately!” And by that, Kooper returned to Bowser’s Badlands where Twink was expecting reinforcements. Meanwhile, our heroes, Peach and Yoshi, continue their journey.

Ahem, [Yoshi if you receive this message, then I’ll know you’ll be alive. I am all right so far but I am trapped in this room up, up, high. There is nothing here except a chair. When you come here, I want you to disguise yourself as a guard. Keep Peach with you; make sure she disguises herself as well. Please bring reinforcements; you might need a big team to pull this off. In the meantime, I’ll just go make fun of Luigi in the bathtub. Heh heh, I think he’s overdue for a rinse,” said Junior. He walked towards the door but before leaving he just wanted to mention Mario one thing. “I myself tightened security. There is no way those friends of yours will ever rescue you. Not while I, Bowser Koopa Jr. remains standing. You hear? Well then, enjoy your stay Mr. Mario.” and by that, he left with a sinister smile on his face.
All of my Mario’s friends; Goombario, Kooper, Parakarry, Bow, Watt, Sushie, and Lakilester, were at last reunited. Twink made a short delay however. “We will not storm the castle until Yoshi and Peach arrive. Until then, remain silent; we must not blow our cover. Only they can lead us to the rescuing of the Mario Bros.” The brave heroes remained to wait for the arrival of Yoshi and Peach. They all patiently relaxed in the midst of the shadows where they won’t be spotted. Yoshi and Peach were on their way to Bowser’s Badlands, determined to save the Mario Bros.
