Before Joshi
Mowrylean, or Mowry as some would say, has bright blue skin, flaring red eyes, and whenever he puts it on, a charming smile. He has a dragon-like appearance without any wings.
He was inspired by his younger sister, Celestial, who worked in the Intergalactic Communications Tower to bring all important news from around the galaxy. She made a big difference in the world, for if the Intergalactic Communications Tower were to cease to exist, all outside calls would be lost.
This gave him the most brilliant idea. He would create many gadgets the world can use as a benefit to all living things. He named his Enterprise the Yoshi Advanced Technologies Enterprise. All of his gadgets were experimental, once they all have been properly tested, he would reproduce them all around the world, making them indestructible to make sure nothing will damage them until after proper testing.
It was a genius plan, however, until his older brother, Lieutenant Tronzoa, a much bigger and muscular version of Mowrylean, demanded a share of his experiments or face some catastrophic consequences. Professor Mowrylean agreed to the deal in fear of the world, his sister, and his big dreams. Lt. Tronzoa wanted the opposite Mowrylean dreamed of accomplishing; he wanted to rule the Universe using the experiments for evil. Professor Mowrylean took the utmost precaution; he ran a program for the experiments to allow them to be used only by certain individuals. The status of this program was displayed, but Mowry was no pleased with the results. Only three people can use the experiments; the one with the purest heart, a link to the one of the purest heart, and unfortunately, the one with the most destructive heart. Surprisingly, Mowrylean was not the one with the purest heart while Lt. Tronzoa was not the one with the destructive heart.
All their goals and dreams were ruined, until Lt. Tronzoa was given the name of the one of the purest heart and his location in a dream. He gave a sinister smile to his evil sidekick, Yoshiken Draconi.
“Bring me Joshi of Planet Crysal. I need him immediately. Go now, and don’t return without him!” he demanded to Yoshiken as he took a very special vehicle from Lt. Tronzoa’s hangar to travel planet by planet...
After Joshi
Joshi, a small green Yoshi, was very playful and loved to talk to others. He however, was one of the few who knew how to read. He shares stories with his friends and read important things to his family. His sister Jamie was very pretty but she didn’t have a lovable personality. Joshi believed his mother was very beautiful and his dad was very strong and kind-hearted. That same day Yoshiken set off to kidnap Joshi, Joshi gave his sister Jamie a necklace.
“Here Jamie, I want you to have this,” said Joshi putting the necklace around her neck. “So you’ll always remember me.”
Jamie felt the necklace and smiled. Then she looked at Joshi with a big smile.
“Hmm, you aren’t giving this to me so I could owe you something, are you?” she asked, still smiling.
“Heh, nope, but you’re idea is so much better!” he said as the two of them laughed.
The laughing was quickly interrupted by a large sound coming towards the village. Everyone began screaming, “Invaders! Invaders!” Jamie went back inside to alert them about the situation and they quickly ran outside. Joshi caught a glimpse of the big, powerful looking vehicle coming towards him. Joshi’s parents grabbed him and shoved him towards the house.
“Come on sweetie, that thing is dangerous, I want you to go inside and go through the back door, go down the cellar and wait there. We adults must handle the situation.” said Joshi’s mother.
Joshi and Jamie ran towards the door, but a huge fire ball was launched towards it knocking Joshi and Jamie back. Yoshiken used a grapple and caught Joshi on it. He threw him inside the vehicle and turned back. Jamie ran towards it in furious speed.
“Jamie, no!” yelled the father.
Jamie grabbed a hold of the vehicle and got inside. She unlocked Joshi’s cell and pushed open the door. Yoshiken quickly interrupted.
“Looking for someone little missy? I don’t think so.”
“Get away from her you big doofus!” yelled Joshi afraid for his sister.
Yoshiken grabbed Jamie and shut the cell. He opened the door to release her into the fast moving pavement. He said a few words before letting her go.
“I’m sorry little girl, but I’m just doing my job...”
By those final words, he let go of Jamie. Jamie fell on the pavement and on her head. She remained unconscious with the necklace still dangling from her neck. Joshi cried and started kicking the cell.
“JAMIE!! NOOOOO!!! LEAVE ME ALONE, PLEASE! LET ME GO!”
Joshi’s parents ran towards Jamie and bundled her up. They cuddled together and cried. Jamie slowly woke up from pain.
“Is... is he back?” she asked.
The parents nodded and she cuddled with them to cry. They were too late to save their son.
“Mom, Dad, I miss him. I loved him.” she said sobbing.
“There, there now honey. We miss him too. We loved him just as much as we love you. Don’t cry, have faith, someday, Joshi will return to our arms, let his heart lead the way.” comforted the mother as she hugged Jamie nice and tight.
Joshi remained on the cell and cried. He remembered all the good times he has had with Jamie and his parents. If only he was quicker in entering the house. Yoshiken walked up to his cell and sat down beside him.
“Hey boy, talk to me.” he said eating some food.
Joshi ignored him and kept his face down, still sobbing. Yoshiken got impatient but he knew he would not look up.
“Ah, kid, don’t worry, you’ll have a better family over to where I’m taking you. In fact, you’ll be a ruler of a planet because with your help, we’re going to take over it. I betcha your old family couldn’t do that if they tried eh.”
Joshi kicked Yoshiken through a space in the cell. Yoshiken pressed his hand on the knee where he kicked him.
“Hey! I’m trying to comfort you here! What’s your problem dude?”
“No one can replace my family. NO ONE! This is your entire fault! I don’t want to talk to you, jerk!” Joshi yelled, finally raising his head.
“Well, fine I’ll try something else.”
“No, just go.” Joshi said, putting his head back in.
“Well then fine, I know when I’m not needed!”
“Fine!” yelled Joshi raising his head again.
“Fine!”
“Fine!”
“FINE!!! Sheesh!” Yoshiken stormed right back into the control room slamming the door.
Joshi started kicking the cell out of anger, put his head down, and screamed. Then he started to cry again.
“Mommy, daddy, Jamie! Where are you?” he asked to himself as he kept his head down.
