Okay, this may seem like a strange idea for a thread, but I've got my reasons:
This is supposed to be a place for poetic verse, be it spoken or sung (though that's hard to convey online), with (hopefully) some amount of relevance.
The reason I was coerced to make such a thread is because I've got this curious "Ode to Petey" that I pulled out of oblivion, and am really not sure what to do with.
Soo.... *ahem*
Petey Piranha, his noggin's so huge, When golfing, he spins like a big centrifuge. He flies over town, the brown goo that he vomits Makes such a huge mess that it ruins the calm; it's A wonder the townsfolk don't go and take arm To throw ol' Petey out, much to his alarm. Oh, Petey Piranha, when driving the road, His weight far exceeds that of Yoshi or Toad. The items he throws mimic those of his foes As he speeds down the track. Oh, how swiftly he goes! Petey, oh Petey: the flora du jour, A king among plants, though a tyrant for sure. But what lies ahead in ol' Petey's career? Only time, now will tell us; with time all comes clear.
...so, yeah. If you've got anything to post, go ahead.

Ah, I've got another good example. This one is put to the title screen tune from Doctor Mario (if anyone knows how that goes.)
Here he comes, Doctor Mario! Look out, germs: Doctor Mario! What's his name? Doctor Mario! Here he comes!
(Ba dum, bum, bum)
Ma-ri-o, He's the doctor, Dr. Ma-ri-o. Yeah, that's right, the doctor, Ma-ri-o, Here he comes to give you pills.
(he'll, cure, ya)
Ma-ri-o, He's the doctor, Dr. Ma-ri-o. That's his name, the doctor, Ma-ri-o, And he's gonna give you pills.
(* * *)
Not feeling well today? Got the fever or the chill? Th' Doc'll cure you, right away, THEN HE'LL STICK YOU WITH THE BILL! (Bill, bill, bill, bill, bill)

Ah, but you see, the first one touched upon Petey Piranha's life, and the second one touched upon Dr. Mario's career. They are quite touching.

Cool. I have my little thing, although it's more of a chant.
This is set to the pace of the matching game from Super Mario Bros. 3 with the three rolling lines where you try to get them to line up to form one item (kinda like a slot machine, but sideways and with only one picture that you're trying to create).
(sound out the constanants that are together (like "cd" = "coulda")
Or:
It kinda works when you're watching the screen with the partial images whizzing by.
